hi,like many food etc is a constant concern so have changed to Aldi as my main shop as was finding Asda getting expensive and often finding up to 10ish items out of stock

I already find Aldi stock levels much better and less choice is a huge bonus but would be good to see what other shoppers like and recommend

i love the soft seeded loaf so good and a bargain at £1.20 ish
copy of fanta and Lilt 6 cans £1.60 and big bottles 60p huge bargain
9 good toilet rolls £1.99 bargain m waiting for that price to increase

please add your i might find some more gems

they have a great wine buyer.

I met their wine buying team at their Christmas press showcase (as well as tasting a lot of the wines... hic) and they were all really passionate about their wines and sourcing. They said that if they find a good wine source they buy up all the available bottles and then when that's gone it's gone until the next year. Hence why you might find a favourite which then disappears for a while.

I love their New Zealand whites, their rose fizz (especially the one in that gorgeous patterned bottle which my wine snob friends thought was very expensive, more so after tasting), their candles, their skincare - look out for dupes of the Bobbi Brown moisturiser/ primer and the eye cream. There's also a really good glow serum in a gold bottle. I've heard amazing things about their concealer but yet to find it in the flesh. Their toners are excellent and as good as pixi.

Their speciality cheeses are amazing too. Fab olive oils. And they have a really decent range of veggie/vegan ready meals. So much to love.

59p shower gel
99p earl gray tea bags 50 in the box
Coffee beans can't remember price. Very good sub for other pricier beans.
