DH woke me up last night because dd was “screaming for me” she wasn’t. He’s also said she was up 5 times last night screaming. She wasn’t. I’d have heard it. Funnily enough one of the times he said he was up with her was just after he’d woken me up. So waking me up at 11 and she was the. Screaming at 12. I know this isn’t true because I was only back in bed at 1145. And saw the clock turn midnight. No acreaming.

em nanny cam hidden in room then confront him? Or is that too nuclear? He needs a rocket up his arse for sure.

Yesterday dd told me her father did bodyguard work for pink. He definitely didn't. Pink has only come to Ireland since I've been with him.
I didn't say he lied I just said it's the first I've heard of it.

Wtf Em? Why on earth would he wake you saying she was screaming if she wasn't? Was he dreaming? If not that's an odd thing to do. Dh occasionally wakes me up in a panic and it turns out he's dreaming.

I also had a rubbish night. Dd1 woke up from a bad dream and I had just about dozed off again when she woke me up again to go to the loo (never sure why this has to involve me or dh!). Couldn't get back to sleep for ages and neither could dh who was also disturbed so we put our lamp on and read for a bit at 2am. Dd1 woke us up just before 6 because she had wet the bed 😬

Need a top up shop today. Aiming to get to Sunday then do a big shop at Lidl.

No idea….

In other news. Have paid off credit card. I took money from premium bond accounts which will be replaced and have just paid it off. Card is now in a drawer.

And I’ve spent time this morning deleting it from all online shops that I can remember. 🙂

£5 spent on coffee already this morning.

£260 concert tickets for next year, £160 hotel. Still need train tickets and another hotel in a different location for the first night

I'm off work today 'cos I'd an engineer out to service my alarm. He was here for about an hour but it didn't cost me anything. I pay for maintenance as part of my alarm monitoring fee but there's usually an extra charge for parts or whatever. So I'm relieved that I didn't have to pay anything extra on this occasion. And I'm off on my holidays on Saturday, so it's a relief to know the alarm will be working while I'm away.

Spends today:-

€6.30 in pharmacy for ear drops. My ears have been blocked for the last while and it's really irritating. Especially for DD 'cos she keeps having to repeat herself 'cos I can't hear her too well .

€3 in butchers

€10 for alterations to DD's school trousers x 2 pairs

€1.30 in bakery

€10.87 on groceries

Work is crazy, crazy busy so I'm relishing the prospect of no calls or e-mails for a whole week.

I'm getting some washing done today and once I've hung out the next wash load, I'll make a list of what I'm bringing with me and start to pack.

It's been cold and grey and rainy for the past fortnight or so. I'm not sure if the prospects are any better for next week. So I'm bringing a mix of clothes - a few hoodies in case it's cold. Or we have to eat outdoors. I'm not sure if the restaurants will allow indoor dining or if we'll have to eat outside? And a raincoat obviously, 'cos it's Ireland. And a swimsuit, sun cream, swimsuit etc. in case we get lucky and the weather picks up.

Should add the donkey is ds’. We’re getting the bus home and he wanted to bring him. I also have dds “beepy” (sheepy) with me because she also had to bring something. 😂

The boss took me for lunch. Sushi and noodles. Yum. And a glass of bubbly. Yay!!

Spends: £1.30 juice at the hospital - feel bad about this but I had to wait ages and I was soo thirsty, I knew I should have taken a water bottle grr. £2.30 bus home from hospital. £15ish Tesco groceries. £5ish steri-strips Boots.

Had another growth scan, all seems fine so don't need any more. I saw baby's hair on the scan! didn't even know you could see that on a scan, I never had any additional ones with DD.

Em what is going on with your DH? Why would he say she was screaming if she wasn't? So odd

Sorry you both had bad nights . DD has actually slept through both the last two nights, she's been going through a phase for the last 6 weeks or so when she's started waking most nights once or twice in the night crying and then asking for a cuddle and some water.

Tayto I particularly hate holiday packing when you have to pack for every weather eventuality! Find it stressful. Hope you have a lovely break away tho and hope the weather improves. It's horrible grey and drizzly here too atm, really gets me down. Have had the heating on yesterday and today because I feel freezing, me and DH have both caught DD's cold. I'm not too bad though, he seems a lot more poorly and is out at work poor thing.

Oh foooos! One of the best gigs I’ve ever been to was foos at Wembley. I managed to get tickets on a sat for a Sunday night gig. Flew out Sunday afternoon gig back on the red eye in the morning and straight to work. Never again. But totally worth it.

DH knows he’s a twat for waking me up.

I haven’t been to a gig for so long. It’s a bit more of an event for us having to fly over to the Uk or France. But man I love it.

Meadow dd1 is 7, dts are 4. Lots of overtired nonsense this evening. Doesn't bode well!

Dd had a nap for an hour today. Which usually would be fine. But because she’s not doing night sleeping much…well. Over tired nonsense here too.

She’s kicked me in the face while trying to change her nappy. Then slapped me and pulled a chunk of my hair out. She’s screamed until she was almost sick. Because she’s tired. And doesn’t want to go to bed. But wants to sleep.

She has a bit of a cough. She’s had calpol and teething powder stuff because I think I can see back molars coming through. And I’ve put the menthol diffuser on in her room to help. As long as she doesn’t wake up….
