Hold your horses Quite, I was waiting for morning for natural light!
This is what I bought, I’m not sure I’ve captured the green quite right on my phone but it’s a lovely warm but not yellowy green (I can’t wear yellow). I’m knitting a scarf thing with it. This pattern. So the main body will be the green with the lighter /coloured bits in the short row sections

I hope the variegated yarn shows up okay against the solid green. I might finish it by spring, when I will then be in the mood to wear it!
I am still knitting my cotton jumper with the drops yarn but fear that by the time I finish it it will be too big for me! This is more a reflection on the speed of my knitting than the speed of my weight loss
Warm I think if you can do without yoga classes and can still get the benefit from doing it at home you’ll make a great saving. I went from having a Cleaner to not for a year or so while on mat leave and it was fine. I didn’t have the whole house clean at the same time but I did just about manage to keep on top of it. I missed the ‘everything clean at once’ but did not miss the weekly ‘panic tidy for the cleaner’. So there was an upside!
Taking DH out for a brownie this afternoon as we’re meeting a friend and her ASD boy - both boys love a cafe and cake! I’m back on the diet plan after yesterday’s massive blow out (was the Landmark Hotel in Marylebone, for whoever was asking. Fantastic atrium setting as well as lush food!). So Just tea for me then
. Other than that, cooking roast chicken and roast root veggies for dinner (chicken risotto leftovers later this week), making soup for lunches and doing laundry. Not sure when I’ll get work done as DH wants to go twitching today - some rare bird has been spotted locally - and it seems only fair after my fun yesterday.
It’s sunny and gorgeous here again!
