Fluffy yeas after five calls and about 1hiur 15 on hold. They admit they screwed it up and are looking into it. It can’t be sorted by pay day but they will investigate whether they can make a separate emergency payment. No timescales. No promises of revolution

Monday. Done.

No mil. She was here while I was at work. Dh left her alone in the house with ds. She has (I think) been through my stuff. I’m pretty sure that things were different when I went to work. Obviously can’t ask.

I’ve tidied up and have taken pictures so when she’s here tomorrow I’ll know if things have moved.

Had first session with my new trainer today. I am going to hurt tomorrow.

I think she’s been through my make up drawer, my bedside table and my pile of paperwork.

I’m not sure though. Things look different. I can’t ask dh because he’ll a) think I’m odd for noticing things are not as I left them and b) think I’m accusing. So yes. Will maybe leave something tempting lying about.

I don’t particularly want her in the house either. But dh has compromised with me a lot. She won’t be here when I am. This is my safe space and I will not feel forced out again (as she has before).

Take a time/ date stamped photo too em and again when you come in. Don't need to do anything but handy to have up the Wizards sleeve.

then make sure there isnt any of the tea or coffee she likes,and nothing in the fridge for lunch.. only a bit of loo roll also (heck I am mean)..

Wolf Will it stop you paying any bills or cause you hardship?. I remember the nhs doing the same to a lp I worked with and they did a FPI but she was literally on the phone hourly. She’d worked a full time month and they paid her for four days total.

Quick check in. Spends today £4 on dressings for ds' burn on his arm. It looks much better today & hopefully we've nipped it in the bud so it won't get infected.
Dd has gone to my mum's until tomorrow (£4 bus fare). They have a really close relationship and she'll have a great time. Dh is picking her up tomorrow & taking her to the seaside for beach fun, slot machine fun on the pier, followed by fish & chips. After that he is taking her to score for ds' T20 cricket game. All of that means that I'll be home alone for a few hours after work Woohoo!!
Dh has been prepping & painting wooden facia boards (already had the paint so frugal). Dd made a good job of her wardrobe upcycling, it's not finished yet, but I'll post a pic later.

Fluffy I think I can cover bills just about but it would be another tight as a gnats arse month and I wouldn’t be able to buy ds the essential clothes he needs for his school trip. It would also mean the holiday for ds and I that I have been trying to rebook couldn’t be booked. The boss will weigh in on Thursday if it’s not sorted and I am sure his boss would too but what worries me is that they are in crisis in hr at the mo and we have some people who haven’t been paid in months and I know they are prioritising sorting them out - as they bloody should - which means I will be a lower priority.

I think I am overtired, I am feeling very tearful and sad. I feel like my birthday on Monday is just going to be one lonely sad day on my own. I had booked the day off but I feel like I should cancel it. I thought my parents may suggest dinner or something but nothing was forthcoming from them today and I won’t see them again until the evening of my birthday when I drop ds off. I don’t want to ask, it just feels like it would be a pity date a bit like Saturdays dinner. Sorry whole big pit of self pity over here

Em there must be things that wind mil up like badly paired socks or backwards hangers or something. Do all of those things in your house. She won’t be able to resist mentioning it and then you will have her bang to rights

My only contribution to frugaleering of late has been making Cagletini a shaker from a water bottle and lentils. #notaninstamum

Ah wolf that's not great. Can you plan something nice to find do for your birthday you like. That's frugal obvs. Wish we lived closer we could have celebrated together as it's mine next Wednesday.
Maybe going to work would not be so bad and have a second birthday when you have cash?

Morning. Thankyou all for being so kind! It is so difficult for me to judge if the things I make are any good. If anyone does want something, just send me a message, with details of what type/colour/hair and skin colour etc. I'm more than happy to make orders, but I like them to be just right; rather than, this is the one I had. I do have an etsy shop, but it's an odd site and as a seller not so easy (then again I might be thick).

Today is finishing my painting off, which I was supposed to do over the weekend, but the garden got in the way. Tea will be a cobble together of things I find in the kitchen. There is a high probability that eggs will feature.

Frugal win last night, got 4 bags of "please help yourself" horse manure that a local farm with livery leaves out. This will help fill a new raised bed I built, just need to lug it round the back.
