unescorted haha! Same!! The conversations I’ve had whilst out and about re work are crazy! I dread to think what people think when they overhear me!

Girliefriendlikesflowers · 19/05/2018 08:41

That all sounds very positive sunny well done to your ds and to you!

I'm slowly waking up, dd has riding this morning and then we are rushing home to watch the wedding. My mum and a friend are coming over as well and i got lots of nice food in Ystd so will have a picnic type lunch.

Tomos I'm going to take dd to asda I think to find some holiday clothes for half term, she has also just informed me she needs a 50s style skirt for a show she is in next week! !

Cagliostro · 19/05/2018 08:46

Lonely your DD is gorgeous!!! ❤️

lifelongfrugaleer · 19/05/2018 08:53

I've had a crumpet, lots of tea, normal breakfast and I'm working my way through a litre of water. Have to a up as dh had been called out

SunnyLikeThursday · 19/05/2018 08:54

Wreck yes that would be very strange if you had metal in your fruit. Odd.

WreckTangled · 19/05/2018 09:01

Life metal would be far more exciting Grin

QuiteCleanBandit · 19/05/2018 09:01

That sounds like the ice -I defrost by putting in some hot water .
Sunny well done to your DS
I read that remark as not being very nice -is the CP teaching your DD any tips for resilience/coping with others?

Wolfcub · 19/05/2018 09:25

4.80 in wilkos for paracetamol, antihistamines, sweets for ds and a lottery ticket
1 for ds’s activity
Haircut later will be about £38

Sunny that’s great that ds stayed and had a good time
North glad exams are still going well, fingers crossed
Life hope the cup final goes well and the hangover abates
Unescorted hope marshalling is pleasantly warm and not midgey

Oooooooooh I’ve been paid!!!!!

First 2018 payday!!!!!

So. The situation is. Or will be on Monday once my standing orders etc have gone out.

My ac : £405
Joint ac £1523
Credit card £650
“Penny” account £12.47
“Christmas savings ac” £250 - putting £50 a month aside for Christmas now so it’s not such a flap come December.

I’ve logged on to my online banking and realised that it’s 1 June that our mortgage flips to variable rate and our first payment is on 4 June. So well save £450 a month. Payments reduced to around £900. Whoooop! We figured given the move is edging closer (no date yet but things are falling into place) there’s no point refixing.

I have £39 something in my purse. £27 of that on riding today.

On Monday I’m going to take out £20. And see whether I can use that and not my cards for the week. Only pre planned spend is nails on Thursday (£30.25 - usually £39 but 25% off as I filled my loyalty card).

On Sunday (next Sunday) I/we have to pay for ds’ christening. I cleverly chose a pub with a loyalty card scheme. So I’m going to get my points when I pay for the food! Should get around £50 added to my card! Haha!

I have £100 on my boots card

And around £150 in various gift cards.

ChristmasSeacow · 19/05/2018 10:21

Good morning. I am not especially a royalist but I do love a good look at nice frocks. And I think the music might be really good (I am secretly quite keen on gospel music -shhh). Dd and I are wearing matching dresses with this print on. I love being cheesy! Tiara might also come out...

Mo I hope you can get around Windsor okay!

Sunny I’m glad DS did well at school lunch. I agree that comment sounds a bit snide - if he gets any grief he should tell a teacher. I am a bit surprise there is a SN table at lunch - don’t the SN kids just sit with everyone else? Hmm

Lonely you’re going to love that Kallax. It holds tonnes of stuff Wink

Christmas yes it's a bit odd that there's a separate table. I do think the remark was a bit wrong. The kid is generally like that. His mum told me he was like that from the start, but knowing what to do about it is another problem. The extra hour of snide remarks each day is the main downside of staying for lunch.

ememem84 · 19/05/2018 10:50

Article in the mail re the wedding. I love lady kitty Spencer’s dress. And also James blunts wife’s dress. Beautifuls.

Fluffycloudland77 · 19/05/2018 11:16

Dh has just bought 🍾 in.

Best husband ever.

LonelyOversharer · 19/05/2018 11:33

Dd3 and me are in from the garden, to watch the wedding. She's being critical of the hats, I'm trying to see if I recognise anyone famous. Once it's over we're off to b&q for exciting things like pipe fittings, a junior hacksaw and some compost. And the netting. Big dog jumps lika gazelle and has made deposits in my veg patch Angry

ChristmasSeacow · 19/05/2018 11:37

Won’t the deposits help the veg Lonely?

Sunny one boy should not be allowed to make DD’s life a misery. He should be able to enjoy playing with his friends without being bullied. I hope the school has a robust policy with regards to bullying Hmm.

My vote so far goes to Amal Clooney. Her dress is amazing, especially from the back.

SunnyLikeThursday · 19/05/2018 12:02

Christmas Yeah, I know. They have ratcheted down the other boy twice and it helped a bit. Unfortunately both his and ds's social skills are not quite there yet and ds is a doormat and the other boy is a cock and I'm sure when they are 40 they will be best of friends.

We will keep on at the teacher to help ds. I think they are taking ds's integration into school lunches quite seriously, because they know I've removed him for 3 years before and that I'm quite prepared to do it again. Gawd it's hard work though.

ChristmasSeacow · 19/05/2018 12:28

Yes, I imagine they are taking it seriously because it’s so important for him to be integrated and included. It will really help his social skills to have that time with his peers, if school can support him.

WreckTangled · 19/05/2018 12:30

One of my schools has a separate area for some children to sit at lunch time sunny. It's often for children who find the lunch hall too overwhelming and therefore they have a quieter area and can take a friend. I think it's nice.

ChristmasSeacow · 19/05/2018 12:31

I’ve booked a table in a lovely tea room later for me, DH and the dcs. Just fancied getting out and it’s within shuffling distance. I’ll take a cushion. Shouldn’t be too expensive. I’ve reserved a piece of coffee cake.

Fluffycloudland77 · 19/05/2018 13:56

NSD.

I’m too tipsy to go out anyway.

QuiteCleanBandit · 19/05/2018 13:57

What a lovely ceremony and Windsor -oh my heart ,so utterly stunning .The Windsor Greys 😍

WreckTangled · 19/05/2018 14:14

I'm at my friends and her dh is just leaving for Windsor. He's in the police and works as one of the royals police guards (the ones with the guns you've seen on tv)

ememem84 · 19/05/2018 14:20

So lovely. I missed the wedding cos of riding. But just seen a pic of the wedding dress. Beautiful.

Loveabaconsandwich · 19/05/2018 14:27
