£15 fuel.

Tescos are changing the boost, everything's 3 X now.

Girliefriendlikesflowers · 15/01/2018 15:07

Thanks all, I hope so snuggly !!

Busy morning, went for a quick run think noticed a small improvement... Lots of tidying and clearing up. Just back from Aldi £33 got a fair bit for that including a load of chicken which I've portioned up and freezed.

Spa booked for tomos, going to treat myself a massage which will be £48, I hardly ever treat myself and can use some birthday money. Really looking forward to it 😊

frazzled3ds · 15/01/2018 15:16

£45 diesel, £51.58 in Aldi (not all food - got a jumper, some plastic storage containers and a washing up bowl too).

Determined that tomorrow will be a NSD!

mammymammyIRL · 15/01/2018 15:21

girlie have you a smart phone? there are many free apps for tracking your running and your improvements are highlighted to you. I use Runkeeper because I can play my iTunes music through it but others use strava or mapmyrun or myasics.

Sounds like a lovely lovely day tomorrow.

ememem84 · 15/01/2018 15:52

Ds weighs 17lb12. Chunk.

SnugglySnerd · 15/01/2018 16:24

NSD although I need to add a few bits to my online shop later.
Haven't done much today really. Just played with the babies and drank tea. We went for a walk but otherwise haven't left the house. Feel a bit lazy.

PollyShelbyLifeCoachServices · 15/01/2018 16:38

Girlie hope your daughter is ok we had some bullying at the beginning of year 7, i too am hoping snuggly is right. Only one twin got picked on, the stupid kid is too scared of the other twin, the stupid kid waited until the quiet twin was on her own. My abrupt twin sent her a message on social media saying my mum has seen what you wrote a out my sister and if you bully her on the way home again, my mum is going into school to report you. It all stopped after that. I felt bad sending my two in the rain it was bouncing here today but the van is having its gears fixed so tough luck! NSD, same all week. Nice photos of kitchens and babies in between playing scrabble 😃 welcome faded and congrats newcuts!

PollyShelbyLifeCoachServices · 15/01/2018 16:40

Is it need who did the half? We'll done and well done to all the others getting out and running despite this awful weather!

jsp56 · 15/01/2018 16:54

Does anybody know if there's a sensible way to just dip in and out of this group to keep the budgeting going? I totally can't keep up with the chatting at the moment, but need help to keep the money side under control. Eeep!

(Just did the end of year numbers - )

jsp56 · 15/01/2018 16:54

ooops - name change error. I'm normally SunnyLikeThursday.

SunnyLikeThursday · 15/01/2018 16:55

Ah... That's better.

lifelongfrugaleer · 15/01/2018 16:59

Do just that sunny. Don't worry about keeping up just post what works for you. Chat is not essential.

Nsd today. Cba with the gym as so cold but must go, must go., Cba, must go...

WreckTangled · 15/01/2018 17:08

Girlie it's so be worth it! I've booked a massage for the end of the month. Can't wait. The place I go to does 50% nhs On a Monday so worth asking

mammymammyIRL · 15/01/2018 17:13

sunny just read and post when it suits you.

lifelong it'll be worth it and you'll warm up quickly, Hmm at rain and thinking of my RED January, promising to do at least one mile though.

Someone frugally turned off the charger my fitbit was plugged into so it's not charged Angry

snuggly just enjoy your dc and your mat leave you'll be long enough rushing around Smile

em wow thumper Smile

Girliefriendlikesflowers · 15/01/2018 17:29

Yeah I think so Wreck I had a spa day in Jan last year and that was the last time I had a massage!! Am also getting my hair cut on Sat, its good to invest in me from time to time.

Mammy i have my fitbit which tracks my run, its really not far but I am def getting better at not having to stop as much!!

Polly I wish dd had a sibling like that!! Have emailed the year head today re her hearing issues but did also mention the hoax call and friendship issues. Not heard anything back yet but am guessing he is a busy man!!

Roast dinner tonight, have done our own roast spuds which taste great but create a lot of mess, as I hand wash dishes everything is assessed on how much washing it creates!!

LonelyOversharer · 15/01/2018 18:22

Gosh missed two days! Dd1 was 15 yesterday. She took her rather small pile of presents very well. Mirror glaze cake a triumph, very easy, super messy! Will put on a pic later.

Well done need on your run time. You're rather good, but you know that!

seacow your dd is sooo cute!

em your clever boy sleeping in his own room.

meadow so glad you are eating again. Have you lost a lot of weight with the hg? With a 28" back it doesn't sound like you have a lot spare. You must make sure you eat whenever you aren't queasy!

nobuts congratulations! And welcome back to the thread.

Yesterday £16 in sainsburys on nice things to have on pancakes. Forgot choc sauce and nutella, so made some chocolate ganache, which got hoovered up. Made x4 pancake quantity, 2 pints of milk. I finally made enough, they bailed full to bursting with 2 left!

Today £28.02, fuel and a sandwich meal deal from tesco. Thats my third sandwich since august! Twas delicious.

Laska5772 · 15/01/2018 18:58

NSD here and I paid £250 in ! but it wasn't a win, just DH 'paying' me for part of the plane tickets for out hols ( there wasn't quite enough in our joint account holiday pot ).

Eyes ache this evening its been a 'spreadsheet day' at work .. I should go to bed early ..

Unescorted · 15/01/2018 19:03

girlie my DD went through a torrid time in Yr7 and part of yr 8. As snugly says it is while they jocky for position in the social pecking order. DD avoided the worst day to day bits by taking her self off to the art studio s. The then he 10s and yr11s took her under their wing as a fellow artist. Is there an activity that can take her out of the merry-go-round of bitchyness that she can do at lunchtime?

Sea she is so cute. Sorry ladies compared to the Kitchens and cats .....there is no contest Obviously em and cag have equally beautiful offspring. 😁

Sunny just dip in and out.

Today has been a spendy day. Payday always is.... £20 on a pressure cooker.I have had my eye on it for a while and Sainsbury's had it reduced from£60. Hopefully it means we pay them less for gas and electric. I have also sent dh out to Go Outdoors to get some camp beds that keep me off the floor, camping chairs that take up less room than the ones we borrow from my parents (so I can pack more wood for the burner) and fleeces. Decathlon may also be visited. Yes it is the annual trip to Strathpuffer. Ds is no longer the youngest so he is taking it seriously this year.

MeadowHay · 15/01/2018 19:07

Peonies Good luck to your DH!

Girlie I've never had a massage, always wanted one but especially as I have weird sensory stuff cos of being autistic I worry I would actually end up hating it or something. Hope you enjoy!

Lonely I lost a bit but only a few kilos and I was still in the normal BMI range so nothing to worry about. I reckon I've probs put it back on now, not weighed myself for a few weeks, or if not will do soon, my appetite is well and truly returning especially in the late afternoons and evenings Grin. DH made home-made wedges and was amazed by how many I ate Blush.

My tailbone pain at work is getting out of control. I'd only been sitting in my chair about 30 minutes when it was already really painful. We don't have an Occupational Health department so I'm not sure who I'd speak to about that kind of thing, but tbh I really don't want to because I'm very aware I've not worked there long, been on long-term sick, now I'm doing a very slow phased return to work etc I don't want to be known as someone who is demanding and stuff, I know that's awful and I shouldn't feel that way as it's not my fault I am in pain but still...I think I will take a cushion or pillow in tomorrow to try and sit on and see if that helps and order a doughnut pillow online to try too before I ask work. I tell you what I bloody hate being pregnant!

On the plus side my only spends were 60p on a can of pop in the canteen this afternoon.

Wolfcub · 15/01/2018 19:18

Meadow, it may be your chair is too hard for your hip/back discomfort . I have arthritis in my pelvis and spine and have a chair with extra memory foam in the seat to relieve pressure I also have a memory foam seat cushion for when I work at home. I’ve just checked amazon and you can get something similar for less than £25

Loveabaconsandwich · 15/01/2018 19:24

meadow you really should be asking your manager to get you a pregnant woman DSE assessment done. They should check your desk is set up right and especially your chair. It is not being a pain, if things are set up right you are more likely to stay at work!

LSD
£4.50 on lunch

Been a busy day, too tired to write anything else!

Loveabaconsandwich · 15/01/2018 19:29

If I worked with you meadow that would be one of the random things that I get to do (dse assessments) Smile

SunnyLikeThursday · 15/01/2018 19:32

Thanks :-) I'm so overwhelmed it's ridiculous at the moment. I just realised I didn't do my numbers for November or December. Eeep!

Also my childhood home is about to go on the market, which is really freaky and strange.

ememem84 · 15/01/2018 19:54

ds probably no longer weighs 17lb. He had an enornous poo. Grin

£1 on 6 bars of baby soap in the pound shop.

Lamb curry for dinner. From leftover lamb and the two potatoes we had in the bag.
