Sorry to hear you are feeling so bad Mammy. Your lunch sounded delicious, good food always helps I think. Gotta look after yourself.

DS has just thrown a full box of mr men books down the stairs. I heard a huge thudding noise and then.... silence. I thought he had fallen. I have never moved so fast in my life. My heart rate still hasn't returned to normal Hmm

I've cracked and put the heating on again.

lifelongfrugaleer · 30/01/2017 16:17

Nsd. Free parking at the street near the hospital as the car park was chokka. It's a 5 minute walk into outpatient from there.
Strapped up toes, back in 4 weeks.

WreckTangled · 30/01/2017 16:30

Should find out Wednesday. I'm really not feeling confident. They only asked eight questions!

italian I used this recipe when I first did it and just adapt it to what flavour I do. I don't follow a recipe anymore I just do it Smile

IdStillRatherBeKnitting · 30/01/2017 16:31

Lsd for me, £7 in the coop on milk and brocolli and snacks to get us home.

Am at the usual awful standoff with my ex. He doesn't put what he calls his 'contribution' in until I ask. But as he was such an arse to me last month, I'm not asking ever again. We shall see if he puts it in or not. 40% of the time he will, but as he called me a mercenary mother fucker last month, I doubt it. So awful.

Moral of the story: choose very carefully who you have babies with!

IdStillRatherBeKnitting · 30/01/2017 16:38

Fab recipie wreck we will have that, love risotto, hate standing stirring it!

Lemon12345 · 30/01/2017 16:40

Thanks Cag. I normally hate TK Maxx, something about it just stresses me out but it's been a long time since I last went. I will give it a try though, see what we can find.

I hated the PIP form. That really was my lowest point mentally. Really makes it hit home exactly what you can and can't do. I've got a similar one to fill in for ESA (I think it's called).

Mammy sorry to hear you're having a rough time. It's good that you can identify the signs though and aren't ignoring them. Often a little something now is better than letting it get to far, at least that's how it works for me. If you do manage to get out for frequent walks that might help you sleep better too. I wish you well with it, and hope you feel brighter soon.

I don't have an inventory for anything... I really want to organise the pet freezer, I hate going in there (mainly because of the smell) so I want everything in better containers rather than bags. But I can't quite plan it out or find suitable containers. I want to empty it and defrost and start again. If I can keep the smells contained we could put some of our stuff in, especially since we aren't feeding anywhere near as many animals and that freezer is twice the size of ours.

We're nipping to the supermarket when he gets home (if I can walk, done quite a bit today) but going to try keep it quick and cheap. Just need fruit and salad stuff.
I couldn't do with just one carrot a week, we typically use 1 1/2 bags a week. Apples I can take or leave but we still often buy a bag every week or so.

mammymammyIRL · 30/01/2017 16:43

knitting what an ar*e Angry does he see your dc?
Tomorrow is child benefit day here, facebook will be filled of mothers spending it on clothes/shoes etc for themselves or maybe their dc. I'll put it by for the mechanic Hmm

Lemon12345 · 30/01/2017 16:45

That recipe seems very easy. I will add it to my list of new meals to add. DP should like it, it's just rice after all. Not sure he's ever had risotto before. I like it but didn't realise how easy it was to make. Thanks Wreck.

MeadowHay · 30/01/2017 17:17

I am not a risotto fan myself unfortunately.

DGuineaPig got picked up for a cuddle and then he smeared poop all over my cushion and flicked it onto my laptop screen Shock. But he is too cute for me to be angry at so he is still here having a cuddle. Grin

Was meant to be in uni for 10am but I felt so awfully exhausted that I couldn't get out of bed til after 10 :\ that means I slept about 11 hours last night, ugh. So I missed two lectures unfortunately. Made it in later for work/lecture/mentoring session. Absolutely falling asleep now but need to force myself to stay up or it messes my routine even more if I sleep too much in the afternoons. Any tips on waking up?? Have had a cup of tea might make myself a coffee too lol.

Spent 55p on a bottle of water at uni because DH had tightened the cap so tight on our bottle that I couldn't open it to fill it up to take with me :|

Cagliostro · 30/01/2017 17:18

Ugh ESA sucks too. DH had that when he lost his job after his back injury, had to appeal (but the tribunal took 5 mins Hmm). I could technically apply but not sure if it's worth the hassle of having to get sick notes etc. Obviously I lost my job due to my health but I do work for myself - apparently that doesn't automatically rule it out as it depends how much you earn or something, there's a weekly maximum you are allowed to earn from self employment. I should probably look into it now my PIP is sent off.

£4.20 bus pass (DH used my key card as he took the Caglets swimming)
£5.50 swimming
Something on lunch, DH paid, really nice family time
£9 Boots

Meadow sympathies on the sleep issues. I would heartily recommend not having any more caffeine as if you're anything like me it will mess you up more tonight! I've cut right back on my Pepsi/dr Pepper habit (trying to just stick to meals out now rather than buying in shops or keeping it at home) and it's definitely helping

Italian you went to IKEA and stuck to the list - you deserve a medal! (A flat pack medal obviously.) How did you do that?!
