£8.95 National Trust entry and £15 lunch for me and my Mum. Was really looking forward to this as I rarely go out, but feel like complaining about the entrance fee as half the house was closed due to not enough volunteers and half the garden was shut too, but still charged me full price!

Mojito100 · 22/10/2014 15:49

LSD today instead of NSD. I bought breakfast and coffee at work as was up at the crack of dawn taking DS1 to tennis. Missed breakfast unfortunately but will plan better for next week. Did weekly petrol today but that is budgeted for and I have had some cheaper weeks in car so petrol account (envelope) has some savings in it. Not too bad but each day since Monday has had outgoings rather than NsD's.

For those using chorizo in recipes can you pass them along. I love it but don't seem to use it as a weekday meal more for special occasions.

furcoatbigknickers · 22/10/2014 16:15

£8 on lunch at m&s
£4 on park and ride

furcoatbigknickers · 22/10/2014 16:15

Oh yes £50 deposit nursery

SpottyTeacakes · 22/10/2014 16:28

Nsd.

One of my favourite quick dinners is chorizo, peppers, pasta, red pesto and parmesan - quantities vary depending on no eating and what's available of everything.

welcome soldier dh is a devil for taking cash out on visa card, instead of debit card, he likes to have a biggish balance on his current acc as its where our mortgage comes from but is being pennywise poundfoolish as he pays it on interest then!

I paid €250 to revenue today €210 for 2013 self employed income and remainder towards next years tax return. Put it on credit card as we've a wedding this weekend and not sure how much we've saved towards it as it's in a savings account dh has. Whatever's left after will go towards paying back cc.

Fluffycloudland77 · 22/10/2014 18:24

pass I'm with you on the painkillers.

trainers, maybe he'll learn from it. If you don't go mental he can't get all defensive & turn it round.

£3.80 contact lens fluid.
£7 takeaway later. Might buy beer too.

Got £12 cashback.

Everyone's welcome soldiers.

babsmam · 22/10/2014 18:35

Ohhelp that definitely doesn't make sense! Pretty sure we had a mild May and all heating was off!

northender · 22/10/2014 21:21

We're going to be away for half term. Each year we go away with 4 other families and stay in a big house. There's 18 of us this time so I'm doing a massive tesco order. We eat in most days and take packed lunches out with us so it's not too expensive. We had a use up tea tonight, onion, leeks, pepperoni, chorizo, sweet corn, peas, rice and tomato soup! It was scrummy. Have made a mental note to make it again.

northender · 22/10/2014 21:23

Forgot to say too, sold dd's dolls clothes for £60 on eBay Shock. I'm not sure they would've cost that much originally.

trainersandaches · 22/10/2014 22:04

Fluffy I have been a MODEL of supportiveness and it seems to be paying off, he still feels terrible. But the important thing is the change in attitude it's caused and wanting to get everything sorted so this doesn't arise again.

And thanks for the nod on Aldi vouchers!

AuditAngel · 22/10/2014 22:11

£50 on diesel, but reclaim that from work. Put £17 in an envelope for DS to pay for a waistcoat and bow tie he needs for dancing.

Took lunch in today and resisted McD's for tea even though I was starving after meeting at church that finished at 8.30.

Welcome newbies.

I still need to buy DS a white suit, have been recommended to go to Southall. (For a combination of 1 availability and 2 sensible price) DH wants me to go to Kingston with him and his mum (and all 3 kids) on Sunday. He seriously thinks I will get a white suit for DS in Kingston? I suggested he goes to Kingston with his mum and takes DD1, I will take DS and DD2.

I think he just wants me to deal with his mum, all 3 kids and the man/woman in the Apple store. Problem us, if we don't go this Sunday I will need to take all 3 kids the following week when DH is at work.

chocolatedonut · 23/10/2014 00:21

£13 in McD
£59 in Tesco

AdoraBell · 23/10/2014 02:45

Halloween Confused where's my post?

I'll try again.

£8 final top up shop
£2.60 coffee and cake after a mix up at school
£15 petrol

Doing school run Thurs and Friday but now have access to a different road so no tollsHalloween Grin

Audit do not take all 3 DCs next week. DH is a grown-up, he can handle one of his DCs and Mum

lilacclery · 23/10/2014 05:00

€15 in aldi I just fancied chicken satay. Never made it before & everyone else had eaten. Micro rice peanut butter wholegrain muffins strawberries chicken fillets & biscuit barrell multipack. Discovered I missed a voucher in last weeks paper.

AliceDoesntLiveHereAnymore · 23/10/2014 08:11

NSD yesterday, NSD today, and most likely NSD tomorrow... mainly because I'm home with ill dcs.

furcoatbigknickers · 23/10/2014 08:49

Hopefully nsd, payday tomorrow!!!

Passthecake30 · 23/10/2014 08:54

adora no tolls! Fab!

Dp is still on a sulk about the injustice of his fines and me having a go at him. Silly sod. To a pp- I write his appeal letters as writing isn't his strong point and he wouldn't get them done.

Yesterday bought prunes, shower gel for 97p (special treat for me!) and a can of coke. Today I have a course and I might splurge and buy lunch. ...its kids parents eve tonight so I won't get a chance to eat until v late otherwise.

Heating is still off at home, can't remember when it usually goes on but must be about now? ?!

Payday tomorrow and I'm off to the shops as need a couple of bits for work. Probably won't be able to find anything that fits or will make me want to spend my previous £ s!

ItalianWiking84 · 23/10/2014 09:39

Nsd. Please cross your fingers for us at 3 pm lovely ladies...
Have meeting with the bank regarding mortgage. Have found the most lovely house so hoping the bank will give us the mortgage.
We have the deposit money ourselves and money for the furniture and a buffer of 5000£ for unexpected expensive so really"just" the mortgage we need...

lilacclery · 23/10/2014 10:11

Will have fingers and toes crossed for you ItalianWiking

For anyone who hasn't made chicken satay before it's surprisingly easy
Chicken Satay and really is just storecupboard ingredients. It will be a fakeaway recipe in our house in the future for sure.

This weekend will be quite spendy, starting with easy meche highlights for me tonight, waxing tomo & curly blowdry Sat for wedding. Lunch will be had out one or two days too

girliefriend · 23/10/2014 11:37

Just got back from Sainsburys spent £55 in the toy sale but have now pretty much got everything for dd and also my nieces and nephews so am feeling pretty pleased. Infact that includes d'nieces bday present (January) as well!

Still got to do a food shop though, decided I wouldn't get food in Sainsburys as it is too expensive so will go to Morrisons later.
