I keep it in the fridge but some of it is off almost right away especially carrots.

Yep pretty bad just lately. My whole fruit bowl liquidated vertially overnight! Even the raw pears joined in! I have also thrown away pretty much all of the vegetables. Yet a cauliflower that I bought from Tesco a month ago is still going strong!

They had a programme about this.
They dont put dates on the bag, just the week number.

So if it says week 1, thats the beginning of january.

Week 26 will be in August sometime, except we wont stand there and try to work out what week we are in.

Yes it goes off a bit faster than conventional supermarket fruit and veg. So does organic. Which has me wondering what the hell is sprayed on stuff nowadays to keep it 'fresh' for so long.
I have no issue buying from Aldi. I do take serious issue with morrisons, which has the opposite problem - everything is rock hard and so unripe it withers and dries out before going mouldy!

No problems here, and I shop there every week (with a top up in Sainsbury's). I make sure and check it's ok before I put it in my trolley and take from the back, but I haven't noticed any difference between Aldi fruit and veg and Sainsbury's - wouldn't shop there if I wasn't happy with it.

With Aldi I find it all goes off very quickly. But I really like and prefer Lidl quality to the other supermarkets. Maybe a lot of it is store dependent.

Our Aldi is fab, no problem with things going off. Maybe our store has a particularly good manager?
