everyone needs a kitchenaid.

if only to impress your friends when you invite them to kitchen supps and it sits shiney and gleaming and polished on the worktop.

ColdSancerre · 24/11/2011 12:32

I could Jux. Hmmm. That said I've never sold anything on ebay in my life so I'd probably stick it in the loft and forget about it.

housemum · 24/11/2011 12:32

Have bought:
Jolina Ballerina doll for DD3 (in laws to give her as present)
MP3 player for DD2
Scribblenauts DS game for DD2
Stripy socks for DH (an in joke)
Photoshop (for me!)
Looking at scooter coming up as potential birthday present for the 8 year old, but will check price carefully as others v similar are only about £40 anyway

ColdSancerre · 24/11/2011 12:33

Last year I got the nigella books. I haven't actually seen anything I want this year apart from the kitchenaid

ColdSancerre · 24/11/2011 12:35

To be fair the breadmaker is white so I'm not anti white kitchen appliances.

I'd never get it - there'll be one available and at least 50 mners all pressing click as well as thousands of other non-mners.

FourThousandHoles · 24/11/2011 12:36

£150 Shock

arrrghhhhh decisions decisions

MrsChemist · 24/11/2011 12:36

Kitchenaid! I'd give my right arm for one. It's probably bigger than my kitchen though.

Honeydragon · 24/11/2011 12:37

I want a kitchen aid but my internet connection is too slow to get one Sad

FourThousandHoles · 24/11/2011 12:38

same here MrsC

I will evict a child perhaps, or something usefulbutdull like the washing machine

PinotHolidaysAreComing · 24/11/2011 12:39

HoneyD (ello love) have you tried Firefox? I'm no techy but my SIL says it's faster for Amazon and ebay.

She may be talking bollox though

Honeydragon · 24/11/2011 12:48

Pinot is it faster than chrome, do we think?

Jux · 24/11/2011 12:48

I think I've just got Game of Thrones. I'm not sure why I did that.

FourThousandHoles · 24/11/2011 12:50

I loved Game of Thrones Jux, read them all one after the other in the space of about 3 weeks. It is shocking in places though and def not for children.

Jux · 24/11/2011 12:56

Thanks, Four, maybe I'll let them jump the queue of 14 books by my bed wating to be read! Gosh, I really needed more books Grin

Caz10 · 24/11/2011 13:07

Very important kitchen aid question..,
On amazon there is a pack of different mixer heads for £145, inc a mincer etc...it recommends it for sale with the plain white kitchen aid but then when you look below it says it fits all KA artisan models - is the white one vastly ifferent from the artisan ones?

I soooooo want the KA!! My chances are nil right?!

SugarAndSpiceMistletoeAndWine · 24/11/2011 13:09

You can get something called auto click which clicks faster than you can. I'll have a look and see if I can find it Honeydragon as it might aid your chances!

Honeydragon · 24/11/2011 13:19

Well I've bought nothing this week and I have been rewarded for my thrifty restraint as Domestic & General have just phoned to say they are sending me a shiny new dishwasher on Monday Grin Grin Grin Grin

I need a Kitchen Aid now to go with it!

AtYourCervix · 24/11/2011 13:21

i think i need game of thrones.

Makingchanges · 24/11/2011 13:22

AYC I'm way behind on reading messages so this is a while back but just to let you know that I bought the kindle cover with light in burnt orange on Monday and it came yesterday and actually its quite nice (and I wasn't sure about it)

AtYourCervix · 24/11/2011 13:27

hmmmmm. still orange though. i don't think i do orange.

Caz10 · 24/11/2011 13:52

No honeydragon I need it!! Grin

ColdSancerre · 24/11/2011 14:07

What is the difference between an Artisan and a Classic apart from colour? Is the functionality the same?

Jux · 24/11/2011 14:41

AYC, the books are only 49% gone; loads left for you!

Jux · 24/11/2011 14:55

The tv that's on tomorrow is a Toshiba. We have a Toshiba in our kitchen. It's absolutely dreadful, I would never buy another Toshiba. I want a Panasonic waaaaaaaail!

RustyBear · 24/11/2011 15:10

Got the Dr Who series 6 £10 off - I was going to buy it anyway
