AYC your making me laugh, you just can't resist can you? are you like this in shops? Grin

clare8allthepies · 24/11/2011 11:33

Yay! I needed some new trainers, bagged a pair of those skechers ones!

FourThousandHoles · 24/11/2011 11:34

a KITCHENAID???

I've wanted one for ever, but couldn't justify the expense and haven't got the space

I do bake a lot but cream the butter and sugar by hand - all the while kidding myself that expending the calories will make it ok to eat the cake

how much will it be do you think

Jux · 24/11/2011 11:36

It's definitely worth it, the Kitchenaid (I've got a Kenwood but they're similar). I can honestly say that we have never had such yummy toad in the hole! So you see, with a Kitchenaid to mix the batter, you will save so much money by having sausages more often..... Grin

(See, I am trying!)

ColdSancerre · 24/11/2011 11:40

Skirmish I'd prefer cream too. Or one of the cranberry type red ones. If it's white I'm just not interested.

I bake a lot and have managed for years without a kitchenaid, but lately I've been pondering getting one, I just don't have a power socket where I have space for one. I should ask DP to get me one for Christmas really. And rewire the kitchen while he's at it.

FourThousandHoles · 24/11/2011 11:41

Mmmm toad in the hole... probably best not to bother, I'm already struggling to lose weight.

ColdSancerre · 24/11/2011 11:42

Hmm the white one is £150 chaeper than the cream one on Amazon to start with - why?

FourThousandHoles · 24/11/2011 11:43

the white one's already reduced to £250

I prefer the cream but not £150 worth of prefer tbh

Jux · 24/11/2011 11:47

Cream is most popular so they can ask a higher price for it.

Jux · 24/11/2011 11:48

I am soooo tempted to go for the Kitchenaid myself and sell the Kenwood, but dh gave it to me for my birthday this year, and it's the first time he's managed to get me something I actually like, so I can't really can I?

AtYourCervix · 24/11/2011 11:52

i did bag some trainers as mine are making my toenails go black and fall off, but put them back in favour of the brio for my favourite nephew

RustyBear · 24/11/2011 11:53

ColdSancerre - you need lots of power sockets in a kitchen - I have 28 in mine....

AtYourCervix · 24/11/2011 11:56

ahshite. should i get dh the train set? he'd like it.

SugarAndSpiceMistletoeAndWine · 24/11/2011 11:56

Last year kitchenaid went for £150 if that helps (white one again)

PinotHolidaysAreComing · 24/11/2011 11:58

Why do I need a KitchenAid?

AtYourCervix · 24/11/2011 12:00

and if idon't get him a train what the bloody hell do i get him?

ednurse · 24/11/2011 12:04

What time is the kitchenaid on??? I can't see it!!

housemum · 24/11/2011 12:05

Up to yesterday, just two night light Toy Story aliens things, thought I would give the dc's one each on Christmas Eve. So feeling very virtuous.

This morning, very expensive new phone (did desperately need one), chocolates and trainers.

Think I need to stop looking now......

ColdSancerre · 24/11/2011 12:21

Hmm at £150 I might be tempted by a white kitchenaid.

Pinot you need a kitchenaid so you can make more cakie. Mmmm cakie.

I know Rusty, sadly we're stuck with what the kitchen is. That said if I had a kitchenaid I could get rid of the breadmaker as I only ever use it to knead and then bake the bread in the oven.

Jux · 24/11/2011 12:22

Is Game of Thrones any good? I mean, really? Well written, well considered etc.

Jux · 24/11/2011 12:23

You can knead bread in the Kitchenaid ColdSancerre so you could get rid of the bread maker altogether - sell it on e-bay and recoup some of the cost of the KitchenAid. Grin

Henwelly · 24/11/2011 12:23

sugarandspice £150 Shock

But I really do

Jux · 24/11/2011 12:24

Blush that's exactly what you said, isn't it? Grin
