Dont want a political debate but just curious if anyone hasnt had covid whether you've had the vaccines or not. I've had all vaccines but, as far as I'm aware, not had covid.

We’ve had all the vaccines and despite two Dc at school and a teacher DH we’ve never tested positive. And we tested the DC most weeks last year because there were endless cases in their classes.

I’m triple vaxxed as is DH, we’ve not had it yet. Kids aren’t vaxxed (too young) and they’ve not had it either so far. We’ve been quite lucky, because they’re at a small nursery and they take it very seriously despite there being no legal requirement to isolate anymore.

I dread the day we do catch it though.

Have had 3 vaccines and just had covid for the first time, as has dd (18). Ds had 2 vaccines and just had covid too. Dh fully vaccinated and had covid just after Christmas; has managed to avoid it so far from the 3 covid people in the house just now.

I've had 5 vaccines and no covid - and don't know anyone who has had it either apart from children in my Children's classes at school - at one point during rigorous testing 26 in the class had it but mine still hasn't... i do think there are people that are more immune than others

I've never had it, last week I went out with someone on Thursday, who fell ill with covid the following Sunday and was quite poorly, I was in close proximity to her in my car.

Another time I was with a friend having lunch and her 94 year old Dad phoned her to say he'd tested positive, she'd visited him earlier in the day to take his shopping.

I'm on immunosuppressants for rheumatoid arthritis, so count myself very lucky.

Had all my vaccines.
Not had covid as far as I know- I do suspect I could've had it way back at the start, but as I didn't have a headache or temperature, I didn't meet the criteria for a test back then!

No. Neither me nor DH. Due my booster jab in a couple of weeks so hope I can hold out until then.

I had 3 vaccines and work in healthcare so lots of exposure and tested twice a week. Never had it… until now! Only one day of feeling mildly yuck but absolutely fine now, just frustrated at trying to avoid shops etc

Fully vaccinated and haven't had covid despite regular train travel, a fairly busy social life and 2 DC at school.

I am now in the minority as most of my friends, work colleagues and acquaintances have had it.

I know its inevitable I'm going to get it at some point!

I've never had it (triple-vaxxed) as far as I know and neither have my two adult DC.

I take reasonable care but am out and about in busy places every day and have taken flights recently.

I have to test regularly for various reasons, and the tests (a mix of pcr and lft) have always been negative although I know that lft tests aren't necessarily accurate.

No idea whether I have some degree of immunity or whether I'm just lucky. I suspect it's luck. Hope this post won't jinx me!

My eldest dc (now aged 22) - fully vaccinated and not had it as far as he’s aware. Other dc (aged 20) has just caught it for the first time, in this latest upsurge of infections.

I’ve just tested positive for the first time as well, but that’s only because when I got it before, tests weren’t widely available (week before lockdown)!

Not had it yet either.., despite being near people who have tested positive the next day, and also living with DH when he had it twice. Am triple vaxxed. I seem to be able to swerve it so far but have no idea how!! DS has also managed to avoid despite half his class going down with it and also when DH had it. He's only just had his first vax.

Nope.vaccinated x 3 booster was October though as NHS staff. Not had it neither has my partner though he works at home. No kids.

I work on a ward and have worked with covid patients regularly throughout. Just a blue mask on most the time.
I wore masks when cases were high when on buses etc. We were out and about during the lockdown breaks: restaurants, bars, trips away in the U.K., public transport etc. Have been back in gigs and shows this year too. Sat at tables with people who tested positive the next day.

I’ll admit I’m rarely ill, cold once every couple of years type thing. I was Ill last year for the first time in 3 years and I had negative pcr and daily negative LFTs. I’ve had two negative antibody tests and tested regularly for work. I honestly don’t think I’ve had it stealthily either. I think it’s more a lottery than a magic immunity. Though I am quite healthy.

We've all had three vaccines each, two teens in school/college have had covid (one in autumn 21, one a few weeks ago) but DH and me haven't had it.

I've had it twice, once in the very first wave which was awful, and took months to recover from, and once since third vaccine which was more akin to a mild dose of "normal" flu. Still felt horrendous but much less so than the first time, and much more short lived

Dh is unvaccinated and hasn't had it. The rest of us are vaccinated and have all had it. Weird.

Me, DH and DS1 have never had covid, but are all vaccinated. DD1& 2 both vaccinated, both got it, DD2 twice. (Both at Uni, so not surprising)
DS2 also got it from school, unvaccinated as not old enough at the time. How I escaped it I don't know. He was sat on my knee or cuddled up next to me for hours, before he said he felt ill and showed symptoms.

I've never had it. I'm triple vaccinated. I did get a positive LFT once back when we were testing weekly as per the guidelines but I had no symptoms , did a second LFT because I was sure it must be a mistake but that too came back positives.. PCR the next day came back negative.

DH also triple vaccinate and has it now for the first time and only has very mild symptoms. Mainly tiredness. DD13 is triple vaccinated and has Covid now but barely any symptoms at all - just tired.

I know this isn't what you asked but I had all vaccines and had not had Covid at all despite 3 others in the household having had it. Until last week when I finally succumbed. I felt quite ill for a few days - not as bad as flu though. Was dreading it as usually with a respiratory infection I get a terrible dry cough that I can't shift for weeks on end. But that didn't happen at all. Hoping it's the vaccines that hat prevented it being a lot worse.

DH and I are both triple vaxxed. He got it, we've no idea where from, but I didn't catch it from him.

Triple vaxxed. Got covid for the first time at the moment. It’s way worse than I was expecting so if this is mild I feel for anyone who had a worse version! I avoided it for 2.5 years despite people close to me getting it, but it’s got me now - likely caught it from my partner who also has it. Just got to rest and get through it!
