Dont want a political debate but just curious if anyone hasnt had covid whether you've had the vaccines or not. I've had all vaccines but, as far as I'm aware, not had covid.

OP posts:

Yep, triple vaccinated partner didn't catch from me even though sharing a bed. My 3 brothers all triple vaccinated haven't caught despite various contacts including spouses having it. I think some are less susceptible and the vaccine obviously does it job for many either don't get it or symptoms are less severe - obviously that is the point of having it.

I had it very mildly after being on the shielding list until vaccinated 3 times

Do you breathe?

What a ridiculous reply!
And yes I breathe very well without a rag covering my nose and mouth!
Natural immunity is real, despite what many think!

CentrifugalBumblePuppy · 05/07/2022 09:15

We’ve all had the jabs & boosters, miraculously our house is COVID free. And that’s with having been exposed multiple times with Omicron in the last 6 months (for hours at a time).

Either we're bloody lucky (because we're definitely not healthy) or that nasty flu bug that we caught going around the office in early Jan 2020 (brought back from a China manufacturing trip by one of the bosses) that wiped out the entire office for a fortnight was the OG covid & we’ve all developed some weird super immunity.

I find all of your posts ridiculous. Are you suggesting here, though, that you have natural immunity to a novel virus (given you said in your earlier post that you "haven't been I'll since this all started".)

MassiveOverthinker · 05/07/2022 15:04

No jabs, no covid, broadly unmasked since mid 2021, very little sanitiser!

Holymole · 05/07/2022 15:20

The only person I know who hasn't had covid (as far as they know) is my DS. He's had all the jabs but despite mixing with all and sundry he seems to have avoided it so far (been to festivals, uni, nightclubs etc)

tonystarksrighthand · 05/07/2022 15:38

Not vaccinated. Tested positive in Jan '22 but no symptoms.

LuluBlakey1 · 05/07/2022 15:40

None of us have had it- not me, DH or 3 DC. DH is a teacher, DC at school/nursery and I am not wearing mask and am out and about as normal. Me and DH are vaccinated.

Yes. I was sick at the end of 2019 and the beginning of 2020. I had what you would call 'covid symptoms' before it was even announced there was a virus. So if I did have covid then I am sure I am immune now as I haven't been ill since. Hope that clears up any ridiculousness for you.

umpkj · 05/07/2022 17:27

I have had four jabs. Last one was in Moderna omicron specific study. I might have gotten omicron specific the other choice was old Moderna. I haven't had covid yet. I had a cold recently but lfts were negative. The cold itself was mild. That was just before study started and I had pcr done. Not positive.

maddy68 · 05/07/2022 17:32

Me and husband both thribke jabbed caught it a few weeks ago. Both very mild. Unvaccinated (adult) children caught it at the same time both quite poorly. Made me grateful I had had then

redhearts · 05/07/2022 17:37

I'm double vaxxed plus a booster in February and I've never had it until today!!!!

Feeling rough, can't shift my headache and body aches all over

emmie847 · 05/07/2022 17:38

Unvaccinated and never had it

IdiotCreatures · 05/07/2022 17:47

Triple vaccinated never had it before that I am aware of but picked it up last week (while in London visiting relatives I imagine) and feel pretty dire.

wannabeamummysobad · 05/07/2022 19:46

Not ever had covid (I test regularly) and didn't get any of the covid vaccinations.
I won't be getting one.

containsnuts · 06/07/2022 09:23

Not in our family and it's starting to stress me out now it's been a while since vaccines. Most people around us have had it twice and are no longer bothered.

Ostryga · 06/07/2022 09:25

I’ve had one vaccine (never got around to booking the rest!), never had covid.

Snailsaresweet · 06/07/2022 09:35

Triple vaxxd, haven't had it (as far as I'm aware - could of course had it with no symptoms). Have been out and about, visiting London and travelling on trains, tube, and planes, also in crowds and at theatre/cinema. But I live by myself and wfh, so I suspect that has brought my overall risk down somewhat. I have a bit of a dodgy stomach this week with a headache, and had a sore throat yesterday, so I've taken two covid tests - both negative. Other bugs and illness are out there!

PepsiMaxandPringleStacks · 06/07/2022 09:55

2 vacs here and have had it twice!

Sicilia91 · 06/07/2022 09:59

No vax and never had it. DH is the same.

PaddleBoardingMomma · 06/07/2022 10:06

Not vaccinated, neither is DH. I continued to use public transport through the past 2 years, have shopped as normal, been to cinema, gatherings, parties, my child was in a class of 27, 24 have had covid and she's one who hasn't. Rarely wore masks, only if it was mandatory or around someone who was vulnerable or sick. No idea how / why we have never caught it. I've tested when I've felt unwell and it's never been positive. Including PCR so I know it's not user error with the LFTs. Although, I've only felt unwell twice in the past two years and it lasted no more than a few days. Some people just don't get the virus 🤷🏼‍♀️

caringcarer · 06/07/2022 10:14

Triple vaxed and neither I or DH or FS have had Covid. We have been very careful and luckily fs's sport is cricket so played outside.

TheOceanClub · 12/07/2022 09:26

I’m not vaccinated and never had covid despite the fact that I was working all throughout the lockdowns/using public transport to and from work and plus was pregnant so that means more mixing with people/appointments/grocery shopping etc.

Mybeautifulfriend22 · 12/07/2022 10:16

Yeah ten days ago I’d never had it either and I work with covid on the wards and had been exposed to it out of work. I’m not sick very often so put it down to my immune system/vaccine/luck. My partner works from home so we think he picked it up in a bar that was pretty quiet. The other ones he was outside. So either a friend he was sat with had it or he caught it from someone further away.

So of course I’ve now got it. This new variant is more contagious than measles so it’s probably coming for most of us eventually. More and more people I know that haven’t had it are catching covid recently.

Shgytfgtf111 · 12/07/2022 10:17

I am not vaccinated and have never had covid.
