Four days here as well though think dh was a bit peaky day three (he caught it from a friend) after close contact . Lateral flows took a couple of days to show positive for dh and 24 hours from when I first felt poorly to show faint lines

LadyMacduff · 08/03/2022 10:08

I didn't catch it at all from my husband. Didn't isolate from him at all and was resigned to getting it. Both of us had had three vaccine doses.

lillyrabbit · 08/03/2022 10:28

Husband tested positive on the Saturday evening (we think he caught it the Wednesday before). I tested negative until Monday evening. Our 2 young DS (

3 days. DS started feeling ill during Thursday night. I didnt think anything of it and had him in bed with me. Friday morning he had a temp and a very dark positive. I tested positive on Sunday

DespairingHomeowner · 08/03/2022 19:22

Caught it from sibling visiting me last Sunday afternoon: infected that day (weird Covid dreams Sunday night). They left Monday morning, we were both ill by Tuesday

dizzydizzydizzy · 08/03/2022 19:42

I had symptoms on Monday evening. Tested positive Tuesday morning. DP had symptoms and tested positive in Saturday, DD2 tested positive on Sunday but seemed to have symptoms from Thursday.

DD1 is at uni and caught it there. She went to a party on a Wednesday evening, tested positive with a PCR on Friday, then had symptoms on Saturday.

ladygindiva · 11/03/2022 14:53

Update. Twin 1 tested positive Tuesday, twin 2 Wednesday, Friday now and neither myself or dp have tested positive yet. Twins are 5 and extremely tactile so distancing not occurring whatsoever. I'll bet I've jinxed this!

Merryway85 · 11/03/2022 16:31

Assumed Delta last year - 5 days
Assumed omicron in feb - never took it

TomBradysLeftKneecap · 11/03/2022 16:36

I caught it from a barman DH and I were chatting to on a Thursday night. Symptoms started Sunday. No one in my family or anyone I saw that weekend (and I saw loads of people) caught it. It’s so bizarre!

BlackLambAndGreyFalcon · 11/03/2022 16:39

DD tested positive on a Sunday, I tested positive the following Wednesday.

LateMumma · 11/03/2022 16:56

Saw friend on Fri, she tested positive Sunday, I tested positive Tuesday

JustDanceAddict · 11/03/2022 18:00

I didn’t catch it from dh and nor did ds! We were all in same room watching tv the night before the positive test result.
He had a mild case and slept in spare room once test came back - DS avoided him as much as possible

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 11/03/2022 18:01

I tested positive on Sunday. DH tested positive on Wednesday.

CagneyNYPD1 · 11/03/2022 18:04

@Justmuddlingalong

Symptoms 2 days later but didn't test positive until another 2 days after that.
Same here.
ladygindiva · 16/03/2022 09:03

Further update - twin 1 tested positive last Tuesday, twin 2 last Wednesday. Daily testing negative until today when I'm now a positive just as they're back at school. I am really really really pissed off!

ladygindiva · 16/03/2022 09:04

@GozerTheGozerian

I caught it 9 days later. This was from the kids who were literally in my face so no idea why it took so long.
8 for me. Exact same.
Frosty1000 · 16/03/2022 09:09

My DS started symptoms Thursday and tested positive Friday, me positive Sunday and DH is still negative.

Not sure how as we've not isolated and ds is all over him as usual. We've both had jabs Ds none as he's young.

roseum · 16/03/2022 09:11

DS1 tested positive on Saturday, no symptoms at that point, only tested as we were meant to be going to a party. Symptoms came in next day. Zoe app asked me to get a pcr yesterday, Tuesday, positive (I already suspected I had it, as had a cracker of a headache yesterday, though my lft on Monday was negative) I felt terrible by last night. DH positive this morning, DS2 still negative. So 3 days for me and 4 for DH.

Jules912 · 16/03/2022 10:30

DS tested positive on Thursday ( symptoms on Wednesday), DH Saturday and me Sunday. DD still negative but she has already had it.

AhhhHereItGoes · 16/03/2022 10:35

DD tested positive on a Sunday, her Dad and my Dad tested positive on the Wednesday, then my Mum tested positive on the Saturday and my sister tested positive on the Sunday.

My other daughter had it 3 weeks before and so did my nephew so they didn't get it. Not sure about baby.

I however am the only adult who did not get it despite feeling with snots, coughs etc. it's a skewed virus for sure.

nikkispeaks · 16/03/2022 10:39

I was exposed to the virus on Friday, had symptoms and positive lateral flow on the Sunday. So 2 days for me.

Mooey89 · 16/03/2022 13:56

Went out for my birthday on sat night, friend, her husband and child all tested pos on Sunday, friend 2 tested pos on Monday, I felt rough on Monday tested positive yesterday.
