She’s 11 and fine thank god but first time we’ve dealt with it. Luckily. The rest is us negative at present. Would I be ok to go out for a late walk masked about 7pm?

As an update on the app, it does now say that Covid restrictions have been withdrawn.

The timer is still there though. It specifically says it will be removed soon for close contacts. Doesn’t say anything about this for confirmed cases, but does say steps you can take to reduce spread include staying at home- so I suspect the timer will stay for guidance.

The problem is that the schools don’t hear anything until we do. They’ll be working their way through the new guidance now, I imagine! And I’m almost certain they’ll be saying: -Children with known COVID can’t attend -Children with official symptoms will be expected to PCR test while still available and not return until they get a negative
