Timeline of feeling rough?

Triple jabbed - prob started feeling unwell on Monday evening positive faint LFT yesterday. Covid in the house DH and eldest DC.

Came on last night too which is a double whammy! Headache is ok I’ve taken paracetamol had a dry cough last night.

Have worked this morning (but a phone based role) stressful job though. Have got into bed now to rest - moved my calls to 4pm

I feel like something is brewing. I was down as CEV (combination of health issues). So I’m a bit worried.

If I don’t feel rough immediately like now is this the worse it’s going to get?

I slept from 1030-130am then from 2am to 8am.

Day 8: 28 January
⁃ LFT now negative, following the antiviral infusion
⁃ Headache and 'flu-like' symptoms remain, but responding more to OTC medicine; still have mouth ulcers/sore but a few less
⁃ BP remaining stable
⁃ Still have pressure over chest, breathlessness and raised heart rate (140+) when I do anything; oximeter back to 96/97

Day 9: 29 January
⁃ LFT now negative, following the antiviral infusion - so two negatives, officially 'free' to leave the house. My parents came over to see us so nice to have some different company
⁃ no real change re symptoms and way I feel
- really tired after having visitors

Day 10: 30 January

  • LFT negative
  • quite a big reduction in headache and 'flu like' symptoms, though using OTC medicines still
  • nausea and some sickness in the morning, nausea continued for a while
  • went for a walk in local park and for a hot drink in cafe; back in PJs when we got back as tired

Day 11: 31January

  • not sure it's the best idea overall, but back to work today; lighter day as PPA all morning and only once class in afternoon
  • Headache only a little now (OTC stop it)
  • home now and very very tired. Heart is fast when up and about, which isn't helping the tiredness and fatigue Had some chest pains and tightness when first got home but subsided now. It's a very quite, relaxed evening - haven't done any work since getting home
  • headteacher isn't 100% sure whether I should be back fully but I think it's worth trying - only two weeks til half term; I've assured them I will let them know if I start to really struggle
  • cheered myself up last night/this morning by booking a winter sun holiday for half term in 2 weeks; dated risk it as now testing negative consistently in LFT but chose a holiday that allows LFT testing (daren't risk PCR) Figured it's now less safe to go on a plane right now than it is being in school, and my travel insurance has full covid cover,

Day 7 I feel a bit better than yesterday, even made some soup earlier but this eve I feel a bit breathless & like I can't get enough air. Which is the worst thing to think about because you can't stop thinking about it & worrying! Ears still ruined.

Otherwise a strong positive on the test still & I put on clothes today which might have helped me feel a little better. Hope everyone else is doing ok.

Day 8 & I feel a lot better. Not totally but there is light at the end of the covid tunnel!
