Itchy red spots that look like insect bites

I have had a few red spots pop up over the last couple of weeks on my torso, legs and arms. They are itchy. A quick Google suggests this might be a sign of Omicron - has this been the case for anyone on here? I have no other symptoms but I can't recall being bitten by anything and wouldn't normally get insect bites this time of year, so I'm curious!

I had scabies years ago so did colleague at work, it itches loads at night and is often between the fingers and in skin folds, I had to cover myself in some prescription lotion to get rid of it but it went quite easily after treatment

How strange, I've had this last couple of weeks!! Really itchy hives, mainly itching at night, mostly on my back but some on torso. Have had some possible Omicron symptoms (headache, sore throat) but still testing negative. Haven't had the vaccine so not that in my case!

Only had a few on my fingers, following delta infection and also after my pfizer booster last Tuesday. So far, they disappear after a few days.
