Waiting for PCR results

Feels like a race against the clock! Mine is 28 hours now.

Partner and I had one at same time and test centre on Monday. Mine came back Tuesday. Still waiting for his. (London).

Got my results back after 37 hours. Positive 😥

Almost 32 hrs and counting at a drive through in Kent.
Also tested at the same place last weekend and towards the end of last week, results came back between 23-28 hrs and they were a mix of positive, negative and inconclusive.

Still nothing back after 35 hours but just taken a LFT which has turned positive now

Recommend anyone waiting over 36 hours to check with 119 that the test is registered. They can’t speed up the process but they can confirm it’s in the system. We had 3 out of 4 test results back within 24 hours this week but one missing, called 119 this morning and they confirmed the test was in the system with no contact details. A minute after the call I got the result by text.

Website said wait 6 days until calling.

Results in, took 39 hours, drive through SW London

Now on 46 hours, negative lateral flow this morning but still achey, snotty, sore throat and sinus pain. Like literally every cokf ever had.

We're all boosted, no one in my family is especially vulnerable and the temptation to just go by the ltf is so strong, but would feel awful if it then came back positive.

Looks like there's a fair few of us in the same area too, wonder if our labs are especially swamped

41 hours north east, the test centre did say it’s currently taking upto 48 hours.

One out of four results back at 44 hours. Threes to go now…

East Midlands, 15 hours and positive

My sons just came through now! Negative, thank goodness

It was posted in a priority post box Monday morning, results have just come through now, we are in NE.

And all back at 46.5 hours! One positive and three negative!

Negative, 47 hours!!

46.5 hours now, at a walk in.

No news at 46 hours. Have rung 119 who have logged a chasing request. Negative lft again today. No idea what to do and upset at disappointing the DC and my family but also can’t take the risk that we could potentially spread it. Really pretty fucked off.

I'm at 71 hours now for all 3 family tests.
I wouldn't be surprised if they've not registered though, the test site was a shambles, so unorganised.

Woo Hoo - test at 10:00 yesterday, negative result received 06:00 this morning. So 20 hours in total and a very merry Christmas to me!

Dd was positive monday confirmed wed pcr result bang on 24 hours from test. I started feeling rubbish that afternoon, lft wed morning was neg, did one again in avo and positive :( me dh and 2 ds went to walk through test site Thurs 5.30pm, my text came through yesterday 2.45pm, positive as expected but nothing for the others. Theirs came through last night and they're all negative luckily, hopefully it stays that way! We are in East Midlands

Got mine at 6am this morning, so 44 hours (Cumbria). Negative thankfully so off to in laws for lunch. Hope everyone gets their results soon and finger ms crossed for negatives,

The cynic in me would say it’s a ploy to keep some of the country isolating…..

Probably too clever for the government. More likely huge volume of tests and reduced numbers of posties and technicians due to Covid.

Nearly 90hrs.... wonder if we can get to 100hrs...

Negative result arrived after about 56 hours!
