Waiting for PCR results

Feels like a race against the clock! Mine is 28 hours now.

Posted mine Thursday morning (can't get to a walk-in place), still waiting. I'm in the south east just outside of London

72 hours and waiting

The cynic in me would say it’s a ploy to keep some of the country isolating…..

Ours done at 10:00 at test centre, really hoping I've been good enough for Santa to pop a -ve result in my stocking tomorrow but looks as though I may be waiting quite a bit longer than that :-(

9 hours for my DS

32 hours and counting in SE

Yorkshire - 31 hrs

We are supposed to be going to my Mum’s tomorrow - I’ve not told her DD has had to take a test and I don’t know whether to say anything now as it will make her worry as well as me worrying. Fucking covid.

Result at 39 hours- thankfully negative

Croydon -34 hours so far, some mild symptoms, negative ltfs but known contact with cases. Did drive through as our postal system is in crisis, hope the tests aren't posted to the labs else I'm buggered.

DSis and DF also did walk in tests for DSis positive ltf yesterday and no results, suspect DH and DCs will be doing Christmas with remaining family without me

I'm in hour 33 and still waiting..

Hour 53 here. Wondering if I'm ever going to get the result now.

8 and a half hours so far - fingers crossed we get them within 24 hours but this thread isn’t filling me with optimism!!

Just checked the royal mail tracking at mine, its still hasn't left my local sorting office. Have no idea when the lab will actually receive it!

33 hours, south east. Friends and relatives due to come tomorrow for lunch

Apparently the results can appear on the app first so it may be worth checking (if you go and generate a domestic Covid pass you can 'View Covid-19 records')

North east- just over 24 hours here.

Mine positive rest of the family negative.

Agree with @LefttoherownDevizes mine was in app before I received notification and email arrived at 11.30 pm last night but text not till 6.30 this morning. I had test at drive thru at 10am on Wednesday in NE

I think so too. A lockdown without needing to enforce it.

I'm on 58 hours now. Its a good job I'd cancelled my Christmas plans in time.

Unfortunately no help to us as it's is my DP and he is a technophobe - not on the app It's going to be a memorable Christmas if he gets a positive when we're all sitting round for Christmas dinner!

We are at nearly 78 hours.
I don't think it's a big ploy. I think it's a lot of people testing!
But I am v v stressed!!

Ours came through in 46 hours, just got it tonight. Positive unfortunately, so plan B it is then.

I'm at 32 hours. Nothing showing on the app. Do we think there's any chance people will be sending the results out on Christmas Day or is that it we have to wait til Boxing Day to find out?

37 hours here (south midlands) - doesn’t make a huge amount of difference to us as we’re already isolating but would be good to know!
