Waiting for PCR results

Feels like a race against the clock! Mine is 28 hours now.

Just coming up to 24 hours here too - SE.

DS's result from the same test centre took 36 hours last week so not expecting mine yet.

Did anyone get their results today?

Yes I got mine at 1802 this evening.

I got mine at 15.01 (negative, phew) took 27 hours

Well into the mid 50 hours now and no result.... excellent.

Cumbria…28 hours, keeping everything crossed it comes back in time, and is negative, or we’ll be eating the Boxing Day day buffet instead of turkey at my in laws

Did you get a text? DS had his PCR yesterday and no news yet. Third Xmas without being able to be with parents, it sucks

We are just over 24 hours in Scotland. I’m getting stressed that the results are going to be too late to save our Xmas. We had one on Sunday that was 23 hours so has been hopeful but that’s disappearing by the hour.

We posted ours 4pm Wednesday, DH, DD and DS got their results at 8am this morning. DS is positive as expected from his lateral flow, others negative. My result is nowhere to be seen, they were the same batch but I have a last name different to them further down the alphabet, not sure if that makes a difference. We are East Midlands.

East of England and I'm waiting 26 hours so far, DD at 24 hours. Both have symptoms but negative LFT, keeping our fingers crossed but feel in no man's land at the moment.

Posted mine on Tuesday lunchtime in London.... nothing yet.
The postman was emptying the box as I popped it in the grey sack- I could see that the bag was mainly filled with PCR tests so I am not particularly surprised tbh. Wish I had gone to a local walk-in as they are being turned around within 24 hours apparently.

@somethingfromnothing where abouts in Scotland are you? I'm Lanarkshire, I'm still waiting and it's been over 30 hours 😭 I've tested positive on LFT so fully expecting if to be positive but praying for a negative miracle lol!!

I contacted 119 and was super polite and charming... Basically the system showed my test from nearly 60hrs ago had been collected and nothing more. They have raised an investigation but said batches of tests have 'gone missing' but should receive an update in 3-4 days..... genuinely felt sorry for the LOVELY call handler. Meant to be working so feel awful on whoever will be roped in last minute... sigh.

@Cheekymonkey3112 we are in east dun but got tested at Cumbernauld yesterday. I’ve been trawling Twitter and have seen that some people from Glasgow have been waiting since Wednesday. We are all lft neg but dh has a bad cough. The wait is driving me insane! That’s rubbish that you have a positive lft ☹️ Hopefully we hear soon!
