I doubt that the conservatives can ' cancel Christmas' again : it's a bit too late now and they know that people won't comply to be honest, well, some mumsnetters might, but mostly people won't.
It's not about apathy as such , but just a weariness about the whole thing and a desire to take your own risk assessments , take a test , masks and windows open and just have a bit of common sense
The problems arise if more and more people go into hospital. The London hospitals are struggling :(
