Carlos Marin. 53 years old and fully vaccinated.
Was admitted to an ICU in Manchester and died a short time later.

Very sad news, they were my mum’s favourites.

A bit scary that he was fully vaxxed and still ended up in ICU then died.

RIP.

Terribly sad and this has happened to 170,000 families in the UK, 5 million worldwide during this pandemic. Its a staggering amount of grief. RIP.

It all seems to have happened in a very short space of time, terribly sad.

12 days from testing positive. It's just awful.

There was on article in the daily mail on the 16th about him being out into an induced coma because of covid.

Even though he was in his 50s he certainly looked fit and healthy and no mention of any conditions that might make him more vulnerable. Very sad he died so young.

It’s very unusual for a healthy vaccinated person of this age to die from Covid and so quickly. This is really sad but I suspect there is more to it than the media is currently aware.

The more reputable sources, bbc, sky etc are saying the nature of his illness and cause of death have not been revealed.

Very sad. A lovely colleague of a similar age (early 50s) died in august despite being double jabbed. He did suffer from a health condition but was generally very fit and well. Was devastating for the whole company, obviously a hundred time worse for his poor family

So sad to hear that, what a shock it must have been for his family and friends, as he seemed so healthy.

Like a PP mentioned above, there are millions around the world who have also lost loved ones to Covid, this pandemic has taken a real toll on people all over the world.

Incredibly sad. I was only just listening to their version of Ave Maria a few days ago.
