No explanation needed. Just a yes or no.

For me it's a hard NO.

They aren't off "sick", they are forced to isolate due to daft government legislation.

@siteofmoronslol Totally agree with this. No doubt it'll change soon; if omicron is as transmissible as reported there's no way we can keep asymptomatic workers in isolation, especially if Omicron proves to be no worse than a cold for most.

It's not that long ago everyone in a household had to self-isolate if one person tested positive. Totally unsustainable, especially for a milder variant.

Yes

Doesn’t mean I want one, or am happy about it.
I’m also furious about the government and their disregard for the rules, but that doesn’t change the bigger picture.

secretllama · 19/12/2021 05:22

applesandoranges221 · 19/12/2021 05:41

Absolutely not.

CiaoEB · 19/12/2021 05:43

I won’t stop the kids from seeing their friends. I’d do the rest though.

Libertybauble · 19/12/2021 05:45

No

mum2jakie · 19/12/2021 05:45

No. I'll make my own risk assessments just as BoZo and his pals do.

LazyDaisy22 · 19/12/2021 05:48

Yes

WWTBCD · 19/12/2021 05:50

Yes I will comply because I'm not a selfish prick.

JemimaPiddleDick · 19/12/2021 06:01

Yes, and you’re an entitled shit if you answer no

crushedgrape · 19/12/2021 06:02

Yes

I don't care what the government did, but I do care about my family and friends and the impact on the healthcare system.

Lovesacake · 19/12/2021 06:06

Yes

Grumpycatsmum · 19/12/2021 06:15

Yes.

SoSickOfItNow · 19/12/2021 06:17

Yes

OffCycling · 19/12/2021 06:17

Yes

PinkPrettyPearls · 19/12/2021 06:17

No

SamhainToImbolc · 19/12/2021 06:18

Yes of course. Whatever it takes to deal with this latest variant and get the numbers under control and to prevent the NHS becoming overwhelmed.

DH & DS are asthmatic and I'm classed as vulnerable. As much as I loathe Boris Johnson and his entitled bunch of mates in government, I think the right thing to do is comply. They, also, would be stupid not to do that too, this time. All eyes will be watching their actions.

PartyWhatParty · 19/12/2021 06:20

Yes

BirdyBirdyTweetTweet · 19/12/2021 06:23

Reluctantly

OrinoccoFlew · 19/12/2021 06:23

Yes, of course.

Pixxie7 · 19/12/2021 06:24

Yes, wouldn’t be happy but I think it’s necessary.

Spikeyball · 19/12/2021 06:27

Yes barring anything that causes distress to ds and so puts us all at risk.

TicTac80 · 19/12/2021 06:27

Yes. I’ve already been limiting contact with others outside of work/school anyway

TidyDancer · 19/12/2021 06:31

Yes. Not because the government is telling me to, but because it's the right thing to do given the situation as a whole.

I understand the desire to stick two fingers up at this shitty and corrupt government but me doing that (or the population doing it on a larger scale) doesn't actually change the numbers of infections for the better.

So yes I'll comply.
