How many cases oer 100k and where are you?

I've done a few threads like this over the course of the pandemic.

My London borough is 721/100k.

666 in Lisburn and Castlereagh borough, NI. Quite a bit higher than Belfast, although Lisburn and Castlereagh does cover some densely populated areas of Belfast due to our wonderful system of gerrymandering.

Sorry not the PP you were asking but I’m also in Germany and there is Omicron, yes. For a couple of weeks now.

Seen it higher previously, so not bad here.
Though our local school numbers would make you think it was higher - assume it's mainly just the children catching it, maybe adults had it before.

744/100k SE London, but less by over a hundred in my actual postcode.

768/100k - London Borough.

We are actually on the border of two boroughs and the other one is 818/100k so neither looking brilliant.

We were tier 2 last year with less.

Was reassured for a moment when looking at my little area specifically on the gov website as it's around 300 but for the borough, it's over 700. Similar to where we decided not to send kids back to school Jan last year (decision ultimately got taken out of our hand) but then we weren't vaccinated then nor boostered yet now... worrying!

382. That's currently so low for us, considering our very deprived, diverse and densley populated West Midlands town was consistently top of the 'at risk' places last year, a list that was produced calculating number of cases, vs healthcare facilities and the health profile of residents.

We've got pretty good vax rates:

• 90% 12-18 year olds,
• 84% double vax and
• 50% have had boosters

716 in my London borough.

442, City of Edinburgh

710/100,000. Small town near Gloucester/Cheltenham.

284 West Yorkshire

Over 800 for me

I know loads of people with covid

None of them is more then very slightly ill

Anecdata I know… but the hospital stats back this up, cases have rocketed but hospital admissions haven’t

579/100k, South Warks according to bbc.

505.1/100k (55 cases) from the .gov data, which is more local.

So high either way, although not as high as it has been.
