How many cases oer 100k and where are you?

I've done a few threads like this over the course of the pandemic.

My London borough is 721/100k.

Wow, they've jumped up to over 900 in mine!

280 in West Yorkshire. We’ve not had a single case in school in the last 3 weeks 🤷🏼‍♀️ The news seems a bit like a parallel universe to be honest 🙈

Vale of Glamorgan. 539/100,000

We’re seeing much higher case rates in this wave and that’s before omicron becomes the dominant strain.

800+ London

933. A town in West Kent. By far the highest it has been.

We had fairly low numbers throughout but a large school population has steadily driven numbers up since November. I know many families locally with cases or just recovered. Not sure if Omicron has taken off yet but it will.

But we do have very high uptake of the vaccine. And very high compliance with face masks etc.

452. Pembrokeshire

We're down from last week, but not surprising, its gone very very quiet people wise.

1,305! Ireland. So high. 27% are Omnicron. But hospitalisations and ICU figures have been stable for weeks, hope it continues.

It's over 1000 in my borough now. Mad how quickly it's increasing.

It's terrifying how quickly the numbers are rising.

Currently await for a PCR result for my 6yo as well. I'll assume the worst

A city in southern Spain, 324 per 100.000 so we are now in the high risk category.

Over 1,200 sadly

I know many people who have it or had it. Some of them quite badly. Lots of people with it at the moment and lots of cancelled Christmas plans. Very worried about the local hospitals and related services.

I'd only read the first page when I posted. Feel very lucky compared to some areas.

East Northants has been about the same all week, it's 514, it was 518 earlier in the week

Jesus our area has risen from 837 to 1524 per 100k in a couple of days .

Makes sense, I know quite a few people who’ve caught it this time round. I’m in the south east big university city. Can’t even blame students this time.
