Hi

Had it yesterday AM, felt ill in the night as expected, but despite paracetamol I still feel really awful.

How long did it last for you? Finding it hard with two under fives!

I know it’s better than covid etc so no lectures on that thanks as I am far from in the mood!

So are we still to believe that if we had covid recently 🤷‍♀️ we wont feel sick after booster

gogohm · 15/12/2021 21:40

No side effects

BirdsBirdsBird · 15/12/2021 21:44

DH and I both had a sore arm for a couple of days but no other side effects from Moderna - 1st and 2nd doses.

RaininSummer · 15/12/2021 21:45

Felt off for a week now after moderns booster. Achey and nauseous. No effects at all after the two AZ ones.

waitingpatientlyforspring · 15/12/2021 21:47

I had mine on Saturday am and today felt fine (arm still tender) but rest of symptoms gone.

boyboyboydogdog · 15/12/2021 21:50

For first 24 hrs arm very sore - couldn't sleep on that side. After that, just like a bad bruise. Felt a bit spaced out the morning after but after that fine.

Holbrook9 · 15/12/2021 21:52

I'm about to book my booster
Had.Moderna previously and the second one wiped me out for 24 hours. I think I'll book a weekend slot with your stories. Thanks for sharing!

Scarby9 · 15/12/2021 21:54

I was tired that night and went to bed at 9.30 (booster at 3.30). Felt lacking in energy the next morning, but other than a bit of a sore arm, I was back to normal by 24hrs post-vaccine. I could work as normal.

coronacockdown · 15/12/2021 21:55

Had Moderna booster Saturday. No side effects at all except really sore arm that I can’t lie on at night. Slightly raised, red, warm and itchy too. Easing off today.

UnusuallyUsual · 15/12/2021 21:56

Had the Moderna booster last Thursday, my arm ached a bit the next day. No other side effects.

Lozza70 · 15/12/2021 21:58

Had Monday lunchtime, rotten all day Tuesday grand by Wednesday…. Paracetamol and bed

screwcovid · 15/12/2021 21:59

36 hours feel fine now

Dumbledoresgirl · 15/12/2021 22:00

Sore arm with a lump at the injection site and a rash on my arm for about 5 days. Mild on/off aches in my shoulders and neck and occasionally in my limbs for a bit over 2 days. Paracetamol sorted that. Otherwise fine, didnt feel ill as such and any tiredness could be accounted for by restless sleep because of the aches.

If it helps at all, I was advised to drink plenty of water for 48 hours. It did seem to help. Can't harm anyway.

OatcakeCravings · 15/12/2021 22:01

Nausea and vomiting that lasted about 8 hours, chills and feeling rough about 12 hours and really tired for about 24 hours maybe slightly more, hard to tell as I’m often tired!

RunAwayNow · 15/12/2021 22:04

Had mine a week ago and have had 3 horrible migraines since. I'm on medication that's meant to prevent them.

Still bloody glad I had it though! It was my 3rd moderna.

Rockhoppperd · 15/12/2021 22:06

Had mine Sunday lunchtime. Sore arm that night and then woke up Monday feeling awful. Felt sick, shivery and everything ached all day. Yesterday I was just completed exhausted and a bit better again today but easily tired

Octavia174 · 15/12/2021 22:08

Nausea, following day, i felt very fatigued, then on 2nd day felt 100% did a long run, felt fine since.

WTFUterus · 15/12/2021 22:08

Had mine at 7pm on Monday. Woke up on Tuesday (yesterday) feeling awful extreme headache, body aching, faint, head foggy. Now (48 hours after the vaccine) I feel better.

NothingIsWrong · 15/12/2021 22:09

I had no side effects at all

LadyGAgain · 15/12/2021 22:09

I felt shit for the whole of the next day and then woke up the following day and was fine.

RockingMyFiftiesNot · 15/12/2021 22:10

No side effects here.

OhamIreally · 15/12/2021 22:10

Had mine yesterday afternoon was feeling very smug at no after effects but then this after started shivering and headache. Hoping it will be gone by morning.

FenceSplinters · 15/12/2021 22:11

I hope I don’t feel as rough as some of you! I had it this evening, and my gland is already swelling up. I’ve still got two full days of teaching to get through 😭

PickAChew · 15/12/2021 22:11

Just a bit blah, the next day and a couple of hours feeling cold. My arm is still sore with a red patch after being jabbed on Saturday, though. Nowhere near as painful as the flu jab is for me.
