Anyone had a PCR recently (11/12/13 Dec)? How long did it take?

It’s got very busy for testing now with Omicron obviously. I’ve had some really quick walk in tests this year (sub 12hrs) but wondering how they are doing now. Any recent experiences?

I had mine just after 12pm today so am in the anxious wait zone. I’ll start getting twitchy after midnight. I hate the waiting, I drive myself crackers with it.

After our mammoth 46 hour wait at the weekend we did tests at 4pm yesterday at drive through and had the result at 5.30am this morning so just under 14 hours? Same drive through place. 3 negative, 1 positive ☹️

Test at 9.30am yesterday morning
, email at 1.40 am and text at 6.09 am. Negative

Tested yesterday at London walk-in about 11 am. Emailed result 18 1/2 hours later. Text came nearly an hour after that.. Negative (I tested because of a ping rather than having symptoms).

Got ours back in under 24 hrs

In London though so might be quicker in cities

Negative also (dd had cold symptoms but wanted to be safe)

within 5 minutes of 24 hours, here.

According to tracking its only moved 10 miles to a post office sorting office (Weds night 11pm)

So not even left to be on its way to the testing centre yet

DD did one at 9 yesterday morning ( walk in) and it came back just over 24h later.

Did one at 11am yesterday. Results at 5am saying it couldn't be read. Just been for another.
