How did you feel after your Moderna booster?

I had mine tonight. I have a busy work day tomorrow. Is there a chance I might feel rubbish? I felt terrible after my first AZ vaccine!

Ditto to many other posters. Had Moderna on Tuesday pm after 2x AZ. My arm started aching straightaway and still aches now. Yesterday I felt tired and achy, that's gone today but now have a headache but hopefully paracetomol will sort that.

I weirdly have an inflamed tongue and the roof of my mouth is really sore, and 3 cold sores! I was fine before 🤷‍♀️
Still glad I had it though.

2 x AZ felt bad after for apx 24 hrs. Moderna booster today, feeling absolutely pants and come to bed early, worse than AZ. I sleep on my left side so considered having injection in my right arm. So glad i didnt as I am right handed but can now hardly move my left arm.

I had Moderna booster 2 days ago after 2 astrazeneca jabs. This has been the worst!! Not too bad during the day but at night I'm getting a temperature. Last night was awful,. Hope it eases off soon.
The worst part this time has been my arm. My arm aches and I have a tender lump at the injection site. But the most painful is I have swollen lymph nodes under my armpit. I feel like there's a knife stuck in my armpit. I don't know if I can face suffering like this every 6 months. It absolutely knocks me off my feet

I know what you mean. I cant believe how bad I feel from a vaccination. Literally cannot move out of bed, I'm completely floored. How are you feeling now @biligent ?

I had a Moderna booster last week (and both other jabs were Moderna) - all three I had sore arm only, and a mild headache for a short while the next day. The sore arm was really sore though!

Had mine yesterday morning. Had covid 4 weeks ago. I currently feel like I did on around day 6 of covid.

Had mine yesterday slightly sore arm immediately and now its really sore , hurt all night and feel a little groggy
Had x 2 Az before and was fine second one very slight sore arm but not as sore as this time
Hopefully its all worth it though

I had my Moderna booster yesterday PM and feel absolutely shocking. I've been up all night with an aching arm, sweats and chills and a headache.

DH had moderna this weekend and has been horrifically poorly. He's defo no wimp and wouldn't usually complain but he said his ribs were more sore than when he had actual broken ribs and his spine hurt so much he genuinely thought something had broken. Worse than the (actual) flu he's had. He didn't compare it to when he had Covid tho. Don't think it was that bad bless him

I had mine saturday morning. I felt really flu like all Saturday night. Sunday I was exhausted and had weird pains in my chest. I'm fine today other than a sore arm.

Moderna booster two days ago and I am completely fine, just a sore arm. Haven’t felt ill at all. DH had it as well and has also been fine.

My previous two were Pfizers, and I also recently had Covid.
Got the flu jab last week and no effects from that either.
I always take a paracetamol at bedtime after any sort of vaccination so that I get a good nights sleep.

Yes I was told that the Moderna booster is a half dose so less chance of side effects.

DH had Moderna booster last week after 2 AZ and he was really ill for a day just lying on the sofa. He had a really bad headache, fever and was even shivering.
It did all go away after a day but it was pretty bad.

2x AZ, absolutely fine, no side effects whatsoever.

Moderna booster on Saturday morning. By Saturday night I couldn't lift my arm at all, had cold sweats and shivering but raging temperature, resting HR of 130 and headache so bad it was affecting my sight and balance. It lasted till about 1pm on Sunday and I felt a lot better. Feel absolutely fine today apart from arm being slightly sore. So it didn't last long but was really horrible while it did.

Argh I have my Booster booked for Xmas eve! Don't know whether to risk feeling awful over Christmas or not....in Wales so can't rearrange , you can only cancel and then get rebooked in January.....

I had no issues at all with AZ but see other posters have said the same...
