How did you feel after your Moderna booster?

I had mine tonight. I have a busy work day tomorrow. Is there a chance I might feel rubbish? I felt terrible after my first AZ vaccine!

Had mine on Sunday, had a very sore arm which made it hard to sleep that night but is a lot better today. Nothing else.

I had moderna booster last week after 2 pfizer, only side effect I have experienced was a really sore arm, felt fine in myself but sleeping and driving were uncomfortable for a couple of days.

Moderna booster after 2 Pfizer. I had a sore arm for 24 hours and that was it.

I had 2 AZ and was absolutely fine, no after effects at all. After the the Moderna booster on Friday though it left me with a ridiculously sore arm that I could barely lift, pains down into my hand, couldn't sleep as I couldn't get comfortable and a bit of a headache (although that could have been the wine!). Fine after 48 hours, nothing to be too concerned about really.

I felt bad after both my az jabs and had moderna booster and flu jab yesterday- really sore arms and feeling really stiff and achey today. Could be down to flu jab though.

Had it Monday. Flu-ey and tired for about 24 hrs. Fine today but with a bit of a sore arm. Not so bad it impedes me in any way.

I was really ill for 2 days after the moderna booster. Very high temperature and horrible aches snd shivers. I was in bed for 2 days. My friend and brother were totally fine. Total pot luck.

I had the moderna booster yesterday after x2 AZ.

Sorry to say OP, but I feel rough. Achy, fluey, headache etc. But, no worse than the AZ and I expect to feel better tomorrow as I did with the others.

BTW I have suffered after all 3 of my jabs and wonder why. Nobody else in my family has had any side effects at all, including my 92 yeard old DF. Why does that happen?

1st AZ was the worst but really only a bit tired and headachy for a few hours. 2nd AZ nothing. Moderna just a sore arm.

Hi does this mean we can choose Pfizer or Moderna for booster? I must have missed some discussions or news. I had two Pfizer and thinking whether to stick with it or have a Moderna as I read the protection lasts longer. High infection rates in countries which mostly used Pfizer aren't a great advertisment imo.

I’d had covid last year and I was ill with the first moderna jab for a couple of days, aches all over, fever and chills, very sore armpit for days, completely drained. My 2nd jab I also had a day of illness, not as bad as the first jab but still couldn’t function properly.

Holding off having the booster for now as haven’t got time to have a day off ill at the moment. I only had a headache with covid so the jabs makes me feel much worse!

I had my booster yesterday.
I woke up in the middle of the night feeling hot and nauseous. I'm still nauseous & dizzy this morning.

Had Moderna yesterday at 9.30am after two Pfizer jabs. Arm was fine - did yoga. Woke up at 1.30am with the worst headache and chills. In and out of sleep at the mo and feel nauseous. Had no side effects with my first two.

2 x AZ felt horrific for a week after both

Moderna booster took the biscuit. Exhausted for an entire week, swollen glands 10 days under armpits. Headaches, stomach pains, chills, worse than AZ

So bad the MHRSA yellow card scheme contacted me!

I had a really bad reaction to the Moderna booster - swollen lymph glands, felt fluey and utterly exhausted for about 5 days and still have a huge bruise 10 days later. My friend just had a bit of a sore arm.

Yup! I feel crap too. Sounds like some people definitely get away feeling fine. I usually 'battle on' but had to cancel all of my meetings today and am now back in bed. Shivery and achey and a cracking headache. Hoping it'll pass in the night!

Ah, sorry to hear that op! I woke up in the night boiling hot and still feel slightly achy but much better today. Sounds like your today is my yesterday, iyswim! My arm is still sore to the touch, but am able to function, at least! All the best for a quick recovery!

Had 2 AZ and had Moderna booster on Saturday evening. Felt poorly on Sunday from 11am (shivering, high fever, nauseated). I was better on Monday then a terrible headache started in the evening. Didn’t go to work today and slept most of the day. I feel so worried now as paracetamol doesn’t relieve the pain. Should I try Ibuprofen? Any advice would be welcome 🙏

I’m fine now by the way - a rather sweaty night last night but 100% better now.
