Moderna booster

Had my booster yesterday, now shivering under a heated blanket. Is this just bad luck or was anyone else the same?

I had two doses of Pfizer and tested positive 2 months ago, if that makes any difference.

Not quite the same but I was extremely shivery with Pfizer booster (after 2 AZ). Really foggy in head and totally exhausted. Lasted all of the day following the jab. Completely fine the next day.

This moderna booster has been the worst yet. I am shivering aching all over with an arm I can't touch and the worst headache.

I felt a bit off for the first night and next day. Very achy legs and a slight temp. But all well 2 days later and it was not as bad as as the first AZ shot I had.
DH only had a sore arm.

Moderna is mean.

I had Moderna as a booster after two AZ jabs. No reaction at all to either AZ jab. But was ice cold with Moderna, shivering all night the first night, barely able to do my fitness class, sore arm and very stiff weak achey muscles and neck. Then last night I had such a huge night sweat I had to change PJs three times.

Two weeks ago my husband had Moderna after 2 AZ. Except for a sore arm for a couple days he had no other side effects.

i had AZ for first 2 and was fine. Had moderna booster and feel worse than i did with covid. Whole body aches

I had 2az and Moderna booster on Tues at 3. Literally just starting to feel better was in bed all day yesterday and this morning. Totally knocked me off my feet had to phone in sick at work and husband had to do school runs as really spaced out and not with it. Fingers crossed over the worst of it now. Very grateful to have had it but wasn’t expecting to feel this rough.

had Moderna booster after 2 AZ. I started feeling unwell 24 days after my jab. Felt shivery, sick, headache and very spaced out. Was completely back to normal the following day.

Exactly the same except my symptoms haven't gone away yet!. 2 AZ and then Moderna booster on Monday. Felt awful Tuesday and Wednesday. Better this morning but awful this afternoon!

It's like a really awful hangover. All spaced out. Dizzy, nauseous and cramping Sad

Moderna booster previously had two Pfizer.

Currently all good with not even a sore arm. Crossing everything that I stay this way.

That's the worst bit, the jab was absolutely painless, which the lady said was due to the half volume of dose.

Had Moderna booster on Tues (dose 1 and 2 Pfizer).Had temperature, bad headache and incredibly sore arm for 24 hours. I also tested positive for covid in October (which was hell on earth).

AZ for both jabs, no problem, then moderna booster-wow, so rough! The shivering was awful along with a headache and aches all over. It only lasted about 24 hours so I suppose I got off quite lightly really.

@Raindancer411 I had moderna booster and wasn’t well but I also had covid and it was a lot worse, so still worth getting but if you can plan to take it easy the next day then worth doing, and if you feel great then nothing lost.

I had 2 x AZ and Moderna booster. Other than a sore arm, no other side effects. Was expecting to be flu-et with bad headaches but luckily none of that

Had 2x Pfizer previously, and moderna booster on a few days ago. Felt fluey a few hours after booster, shivery, body aches and nausea. That all lasted 24 hours. One those symptoms past I got a migraine which is still going (48hrs). I really hope it passes soon. Will avoid moderna from now on.

30 hours after Moderna,

DH: very slight soreness at innoculation site

Big teen DS: sore arm. He moaned about being tired whole 6 mile cycle ride to work. I might have yellow carded if he didn't moan... he always moans.

Had Moderna a week ago was shivering and shaking about 12 hours afterwards and off my food the next day, ok after that. Arm was just a bit sore.

Now I have what looks suspiciously like a small shingles rash under my left breast, it's just a bit itchy so hopefully very mild, i feel well. I looked and shingles can be a side effect.

I had two full doses of Moderna and then the booster.

Dose 1: felt mildly hungover the next day.

Dose 2: woke up in the middle of the night after the vaccine with an intensely sore arm. Couldn't raise my arm for 2 days. Felt a bit cold and shivery and mildly unwell the next day. I'd booked the vaccine before a day off, so I was able to lie on the sofa at home, but I could have gone into work if I'd had to, albeit feeling a bit miserable.

Booster: small patch of swelling and redness at the vaccine site. Very tired the night after the vaccine and for some of the following day. Sore muscles and joints for a couple of hours starting around 24 hours after the vaccination. I was able to work. Back to normal after 28 hours.

I had Moderna booster two weeks ago after 2Pfizer vaccines.

I have Covid in March 2029, Long Covid for 18 months. Damage to lungs, bowels and bladder, loss of smell and taste and exacerbated my osteoarthritis.
I had flu-like symptoms after both vaccines and was very fatigued.
I started to feel better at the end of August, then had Novid, that dreadful flu, and caught Covid again in October.
I had the booster 2weeks ago and have all the symptoms of Long Covid on speed!
It has been dreadful, I could hardly walk yesterday.
DW, who is menopausal, found that her periods restarted after the first vaccine, got worse after the second and she has had continual heave, I mean really heavy, bleeding for over 2 weeks.she has been given tranexamic acid and has to go to see a consultant.

Apparently the effects on periods are merely anecdotal but I believe women.

I had 2 Pfizer and Moderna booster (yesterday), just a sore arm after all of them, no other side effects.

Moderna booster after 2 Pfizer.
This jab hurt, but mostly because I think she was rushing.
Next day -
Slightly sore arm. Mild nausea. Quite tired. Extremely pissed off with oblivious partner. Is this a symptom? Hmm
