Increasing number of cases

Could anyone please explain to me why it is that the UK is recording such a high number of daily cases, and rising, whereas the rest of Europe and elsewhere seem to be showing a steady decline in numbers? It really baffles me!

We're a densely populated country.

Also, there are large numbers of the population who are as arrogant as fuck. Who think they know better than most. Refusal to wear masks, choosing not to get vaccinated etc etc

Then they blame the government because they themselves have chosen to not follow the guidelines..

Then they moan and complain when the cases go through the roof.

Sigh. ☹️

@endlesscraziness

I don't think we should lock down, however to avoid that we need masks and vaccine passes for crowded venues.

I do think if the government continues to piss about they'll end up having to do something drastic. It's utterly ridiculous

But it's ok because Sajid says we're performing with distinction and not exceeding capacity so it must be true.

The Observor is reporting this morning that the UK Health Security Agency contacted local authorities on Friday to canvass their level of support for the "immediate rollout of the winter plan - Plan B". So we may yet see another Boris U-turn.

@Confused10101

Because of the utter selfishness and entitled behaviour of the majority

Because if the ‘I’m bored of a virus now’ attitude

Because thinking that ‘well if I get sick I’m fine as I don’t need to pay for healthcare’ attitude

Because still believing that the NHS is what it was 70 years back

Because thinking that the post Brexit Britain is a wonderland where everything will be taken care of

It’s utter silliness to ditch masks and social distancing…

This 👆 with bells on

@DottyHarmer

No, the vaccine alone won’t be enough because there is a significant rump of f*rs who won’t get vaccinated.
Well if it's so deadly without the vaccine then let natural selection work it's wonders. I've just had Covid despite jabs, so just because someone gets Covid doesn't mean they are anti-vac.

However I would support vaccinations for the kids as they are spreading it via school, they are the super spreaders with this variant.
