How long are postal PCR results taking?

Posted Monday pm in priority postbox we’ll before final collection - no result yet?

Did one in July over weekend and results back in 27 hours.

Are they just really busy (laughs hollow laugh!) ???!

Posted 16.09 into priority box in the afternoon, result received 17.09 7pm

To update, posted for immediate collection Tues at 12, received at the lab at 6pm Tuesday. Results today (thurs) at 10.15am. Negative.

Posted Tuesday 16:30, result text Thursday 07:20.
( I also received an email Thursday 05:30 asking me to return my test which slightly panicked me)

I posted ours on Wednesday and yet still no sign - i guess from reading this thread, it's normal enough! But really would like the results back!

We finally got our results this afternoon - all negative thankfully!
