How long are postal PCR results taking?

Posted Monday pm in priority postbox we’ll before final collection - no result yet?

Did one in July over weekend and results back in 27 hours.

Are they just really busy (laughs hollow laugh!) ???!

I did a drive in one yesterday morning at 8am and got the results back at 7pm last night

I've had to have two this month, a fortnight apart. The first one, I did the PCR on 9th September and the results came back very late at night on the 14th.

Most recent one was back in 26 hours, done on Saturday back Sunday evening.

Lancashire area.

I posted on Saturday just ahead of final collection at 3.45pm - got the results 7am on Sunday morning, so 15 hours. DC did a drive thru PCR yesterday at 11am and results at 7am this morning. So all very quick for me.

I posted Monday morning and got results half an hour ago.

Sorry I mixed up dates on calendar! First one was week prior, test done on 2nd and back on the 7th.

Our last home one about 5 weeks ago took less than 24 hours. Did another one yesterday morning and not back yet

I also posted two on Monday. One back yesterday, one back this morning so I’m sure yours will be any time soon

I posted one Sunday afternoon, had the results Monday morning - in the SE.

it was four days for me last week..

Posted 2 yesterday lunchtime at collection time literally handed it to the postman and am waiting for the results keep checking my email as ds can’t go back to college until he gets a negative result so hopefully will get it soon

Ours were about 24 hours - results came in last night

Posted mine early Monday, nothing as yet. Noticed mine was heading to Edinburgh... I'm in East Anglia. Stupidly didn't note the royal mail tracking number. Fingers crossed we hear soon... my symptoms have nearly gone now!!

Posted 2x home PCR tests Monday afternoon in Priority post box and had text results for both 9am this morning.

Have you registered the barcode, my son didn’t and had to chase his results, as soon as he put the details in, his negative result came through.

I posted my daughters test in a priority postbox on Sunday at 1.30pm for the 3pm pick up. I received the results at 6.10pm the following evening (Monday). Hope you get the results soon

Ditto previous poster ours went in priority post box at 7am Monday and nothing back yet!

I’ve got email this morning around 10am so 38 hours since the test was delivered to the lab.

Posted Monday and seen it was delivered Monday night according to tracking....still waiting now! My friends sil posted one sat morning and only got her results this morning so I'm assuming busy here in the east mids

Posted 9am Monday and results back 10pm Wednesday. Drove myself crazy checking emails all day yesterday!
