My dad is in intensive care

I am so frightened. I need some positive stories.

My dad has some fairly serious health issues but does not sit at peace, he’s a workaholic. He was one of the first to be double vaccinated.

He’s now in a critical condition and is on a ventilator. The doctors are taking it hour by hour. I’m just so numb. I’m not ready to lose him, he’s my world.

She was released from hospital about a week ago, she was doing ok but obviously now she is just shattered. We were all with him when he passed and it was very peaceful. The ICU staff were just amazing, I will forever be grateful. The staff in the original ward by mum was in, and where my dad was released from to go back home only to be rushed into intensive care the next day, not so much and we’ll be taking their treatment and ‘care’ of my parents further at a later date but that’s another thread.
I’m so sorry OP, you’re story ended the same way to mine. We too are taking the other ward care further, seems all too common.

Hi OP, I didn’t comment on your original message as I didn’t have a positive story. My dad also passed away from covid aged 66 so I truly empathise. Anyway, just wanted to pass on my condolences, I was hoping for a better outcome for you Flowers

I saw your original post while I was in hospital myself with covid. It's brutal.
