New list produced of excempt professions list like NHS its so inconvenient the risk of them not working is greater than if they got covid or spread it.
Wealth before health.
Business leaders whinging in media seemed to have got what they want.
Making a mockery of those who are made to self isolate in a less fortunate professions.

Does anyone know if apart from testing theres also requirement to be double jabbed or cam they not isolate with 1 jab or 0 jab?

Doesn’t include supermarket staff right now but give them time by September no one will be self isolating.

They may as well scrap the app.
Its not the apps fault theres more infections.

*Close contacts if double vax - well that kicks in from 16 August anyway so no real concerns if it comes in earlier.

But I have lots of concerns - if it includes close household contacts too - it seems insane that someone could carry on as normal when they have a partner, child or sibling at home with Covid. I can't see how this could be acceptable. Regardless of vaccine status, surely their chances of being infected and passing it on without knowing are high enough to make it not worth the risk?

Don't panic we have the army on standby

Always a sign that the government is tracking a calm and considered course Grin

Trust me I am not panicking and we don't need the army on standby.

We just need to get a bloody grip.

What do you even mean when you say we just need to get a grip?

How does getting a grip help a lorry get to where it is going without a driver?

We presumably do need the army on standby because the case rate is studidly high and the dimwit PM didn't think any of this through in advance.

Given Johnson's general abilities, we should probably keep the army on permanent standby.

@ifonly4 Tesco have recently had a big fine for that happening in another store and previous accidents.

She should definitely make sure she's reported that as a near miss.
