Who are these White Rose kooks?

Recently, everywhere I've been, I found thermal printed stickers stuck to lamposts, railings, shop windows etc.

Same print format and similar sentiments - across the West Midlands and beyond.

However, the heatwave has deformed the message (GENIUS move with the thermal paper there, guys) and people are ripping the stickers down pretty promptly.

I finally found them on Telegram and weirdly, it's just like a pyramid scheme.

The main page tells followers to buy a printer, download the sticker templates and stick them to things.

Antivax, contrarian, anti-authoritarian - there doesn't seem to be much of any thought behind the 'movement', other than a pretty childish stomping of feet.

Who are these people and wtf is Telegram?

So libertarians? Wouldn't they be more alined with Republicans in the US? I'm UK born and bred, but trying to understand where they fit in politically.

Their website suggests they aren’t either. “ We do not subscribe to partisanship, identity politics, or the false left/right political paradigms”

People need to get away from the whole left being for lockdowns and the right being against them and fascists.

I’m traditionally a left voter, I’d never vote for Tory, UKIP, BNP or Brexit however I’m against things like vaccine passports, forced vaccinations and mask mandates etc

The whole left/right debate when it comes to Covid it just to divide people and put one against another when really it should be the people v the Goverment, who have shown from left to right all parties are totally incompetent and only in it for themselves.

Any other teachers thought this would be about the maths scheme?

They seem to be a fringe group and I refused to click on their site, so it was tricky trying to see where they stand. I saw enough to know that I don't want to know more.

@Gingernaut, do you have any idea why my post (and yours) have been deleted? I said that in the school I work at (and am deputy safeguarding lead- though I didn't say that in the post) we've had a lot of trouble with kids using disgusting Telegram channels to post foul stuff about some of the girls. I mentioned it's a chat platform like Snapchat and Discord.

I've messaged HQ to see why any of that (all true) merited deletion.

I have a reply from HQ as to why my post was deleted.
It was because I said Telegram is a breeding ground for ntters and l*ns. Which is apparently disablist. Fair enough if the filter contains those terms.
I stand by then wrt Telegram.
