So our (primary) HT explains that bubbles are continuing until the end of term but not necessarily the sending bubbles home when positive. He says T&T will be sorting and as he understands it it will be 'properly close contacts' only being asked to isolate, and he thinks that means siblings etc.
However he admits he has no idea how it will work in practice other than he won't have anything to do with it.
Anyone's child test positive today and what happened? (obviously hope they are ok too).
Desperate to make it to the end of term without any more self isolation (DS had done 3 recently, including 2 back to back)

I spread the word on the class whatsapp group! The school have left the class. T&T called today and took the name of the school but don't seem to have asked any pupils to isolate.

DC's test was done over the weekend, so before 19th July, but the result wasn't received until the 19th. The school has not become involved or even contacted me about the result. I told the school over the weekend that DC had taken a test and I informed them as soon as I had the result.

I don't think anyone knows what they're doing to be honest. It seems a bit bonkers that on Friday the whole class would have isolated but on Monday nobody does.
