While it can advise, it is understood PHE believes any decision to tell players from the England team to isolate will have been made by the FA.

The rules for professional sport have been different than those for the rest of us fir a very long time. It was decided that sport should come back for the sake of those watching at home not just the players…. I don’t understand why people are so surprised the rules are different, it’s been this way since the end of lockdown 1.
