Who has had their 2nd AstraZeneca vaccine?

I had my 2nd AZ on the 4th of June and as a health anxiety sufferer have been very on edge for the last ten days. Just hoping to hear from others who have had theirs.

Thanks for the replies.

It's the worry of blood clots that is scaring me. I think the occu6in 2nd doses is 1 in 60000 atm.

I have health anxiety so do understand what you are feeling (I am almost at 3 weeks post my second dose of AZ) however I don’t think these figures are correct.

In terms of clotting events after the second dose the figures are more like 1 in every 1.5M doses:

Got mine just now, really happy, I took ibuprofen beforehand just in case. If you repeat the word softening, softening, softening it helps to relax your muscles so you don't get a bruise.

I had my second 13 days ago, I am mid fifties. I was pretty rough after the first and if anything the second has been worse. I am still struggling with tiredness and the injection site is itchy. I had a swollen armpit on the left side this time which I didn’t get after the first one.
I am also worried about the clot risk, I agree it is frightening, especially as it keeps changing- initially they said no risk from second doses, but the risk keeps going up.
I am trying to focus on the fact that I have better protection now, and with the Delta variant spreading I would be very worried if I hadn’t had the vaccine, as I have two children in school.

I'm over 50, I had my second AZ nearly 5 weeks ago. I had no problems after the second one, not even minor side effects.

I'm 47 and had mine 6 weeks ago, feel completely fine and no side effects at all.

I had my 2nd AZ last Friday and I'm 36. I haven't had any issues other than feeling a bit fatigued all weekend, but I was fine yesterday. I felt very unwell after my first vaccine (fatigue, headcahes, body aches, fever, chills etc.) and was very nervous about having the second one, but it's been ok.

First dose- bit flu-y for the night and following day. Second dose- absolutely fine. Same with dh, both well over 50.

I'm 60 and had my second one a month ago. First one felt a bit bleurgh - like I was about to get flu. Second one, sore arm for a day or two.

I had my second one on the 5th June. I had the worst migraine I’ve had for ages the next day. Nothing really touched it. I’m 50.

DH is 56, he had his second one last Wednesday, he’s been fine. Not even a sore arm.

Had my second 2 weeks ago. No symptoms from either save for some exhaustion first night.
Without exception (and totally anecdotally obvs) everyone I know who got significant symptoms got them after first and then not after second.

I’m 60 & have had both AZ Jabs, I had mild flu like symptoms after the 1st one & nothing after my 2nd, feel absolutely fine.

I'm mid fifties. Had mine 15 days ago. Was a bit ill for 24 hours with the first, had no side effects with the second!

I’ve just looked and had mine on the 10th May so that’s 5 weeks ago! All ok here OP

Had mine last week. No side effects at all. Did a 6 mile hill walk that afternoon! I'd have it again tomorrow if I had to :)

I had my second dose of AZ at the start of last week. DP had his a few days before. We’re both 100% fine, with no side effects except a slightly sore arm, and very grateful.

I had my 2nd dose at 15+ weeks
2nd dose felt awful the day after was fine again after that
So glad to be done now I understand about the health anxiety I was very grateful to get the vaccine but worried myself sick getting the 2nd dose as news of the clots hadn’t been an issue when I had my 1st
