HHSchultz · 26/03/2021 06:55

I had it on Tuesday at 4pm, woke feeling sick on Wednesday, but felt much worse once on Thursday yesterday . I think I am better today but I'm not out of bed yet so I'm not sure.

Katyy · 26/03/2021 06:59

Bad headache, felt dizzy and sick, mostly in bed. Felt better during the afternoon, then started shivering and diarrhoea, fell asleep at 7pm woke again at 11pm and felt fine, slept then all night. Next day just tired.

Username0981237645 · 26/03/2021 07:00

Yes, I woke up feeling terrible so I've got up to see if it's that I've been lay in bed and got too hot or something but I don't think it is that.

Had mine at 11.15 Wednesday.
No effects at all other than slight ache in the arm at injection site - which I only notice when I lay on it in bed.
Hope you all feel better soon.

Workinghardeveryday · 26/03/2021 07:04

I had mine 2pm Sunday slight headache for that day. Monday felt very tired but ok, Tuesday I felt dreadful, same symptoms as you. Didn’t feel well until Friday night

Gerla · 26/03/2021 07:06

I had mine on Tuesday. Slight headache on Wednesday. Ok now apart from aching arm. Hope you all feel better soon!

Furrybutts · 26/03/2021 07:07

For almost everyone I've heard about the symptoms have passed within 48 hours, except for the sore arm.
Hopefully it will be the same for you.

I'm on day 20 after having mine and am still feeling very unwell. I do have an auto immune disease though, so anything can trigger a flare in my condition.

Whiskeylover45 · 26/03/2021 07:08

Had mine yesterday, felt a bit off in the afternoon but nothing paracetamol won't cure. Woke up this morning, arm feels like it's been hit by a fright train and while paracetamol is taking the edge off, I feel like I've got the flu. Still last day of term/half day so if feel too much like I was sciving if I called in...

passengers · 26/03/2021 07:09

@Furrybutts. gosh really hope you feel better soon.
I hope we all do.

MRex · 26/03/2021 07:12

It took me a few days to get any side effects more than slight arm pain for a few minutes, then I had a headache for a couple of mornings that went with paracetamol. All good since.

MRex · 26/03/2021 07:13

Hope you feel better soon. Take paracetamol!

Overdueanamechange · 26/03/2021 07:16

DH had it on Wednesday. After so many reports on being ill we fully expected him to be, but he has been fine. The only side effect was a sleepless night on Wednesday when he was a bit hot and bothered in bed.

AlwaysLatte · 26/03/2021 07:23

I was super tired, and ended up napping all afternoon the next day! Arm was a little achy but ok.

HHSchultz · 26/03/2021 07:23

Omg, that is awful. I have an autoimmune disease too, I'm a bit worried now. My sister has the same, she has had the Pfizer and has been fine.
Literallynoidea · 26/03/2021 07:27

I was fine on dat two and expect you will be

billybagpuss · 26/03/2021 07:32

Day 1 I tried to keep busy, even planted a hedge, felt absolutely fine, every now and then I’d get a shooting pain that felt like someone had whacked me around the head but it passed as quickly as it came. Day 2 felt fine, just a bit tired in the afternoon but that could equally have been the hedge planting and dog walk, as a reaction to the vaccine.

Neolara · 26/03/2021 07:36

My DH had it on Tuesday. Absolutely no side effects at all.

MRex · 26/03/2021 07:38

@HHSchultz - I have an autoimmune disease too and fine as above. My mum has the same and also fine with Pfizer. There isn't necessarily a bigger issue.

GertrudePerkinsPaperyThing · 26/03/2021 07:39

I felt my worst the day after but still not great on subsequent days.

I think I’ve been towards the worse end of the side effects, but apparently it’s not so bad with the second Ox/AZ.

niceupthedance · 26/03/2021 07:49

Why are men less affected I wonder?

ODFOx · 26/03/2021 07:50

Mine was at lunchtime on Wednesday. I had a bit of a headache yesterday that went after paracetamol and may be unrelated. My arm is much less sore than after the flu jab.

Monkeytennis97 · 26/03/2021 07:51

Tired and with an achy arm. Nothing else.

notacooldad · 26/03/2021 07:52

I was absolutely fine except my arm was a bit tender where the needle went in.
Dh was not good at all and felt shivery headaches and generally not well. He was like that for a few days. So was his colleague who had the jab at the same time. Both are late 50's

Em8725 · 26/03/2021 07:53

I had it Tuesday 5pm. Wednesday I spent all day in bed, super early night, banging headache and a sore arm like I’ve never experienced. It felt like it was burning and like I’d been punched all over. Wednesday, the headache was there but only if I was leaning forward, and my arm felt like a bruise. This morning it feels like a bruise when touched, but doesn’t hurt to move it and so far, the headache seems to have gone 😬
