To file a complaint against nhs

I got my vaccination few weeks ago and I didn’t get a sticker. Yet I keep seeing all around mn people happy and showing off their sticker.
Why didn’t I get one. Should I file a complaint ? Have they been produced in the Eu or India and they’ve been blocked to the uk ? I think this is a serious matter. It’ll divide the country and cause riots between those that got a sticker and those of us that didn’t get one.

I want my sticker !!

Did you get one ? Trying to figure out how many of those from the 26+2m got one.

Ps. Lighthearted Grin #iwantmysticker

I got nothing. Not even an appointment card/leaflet. I walked in with nothing and walked out with nothing.
I have wondered if going for my vax was a dream, although dp assures me it wasn't.

Fifthtimelucky · 23/03/2021 17:58

@AwkwardSquad no, no duffle coat. In fact I don't think I was wearing a coat at all. Spring has sprung (and the car park isn't far from the vaccination centre)!

Kroptopbelly · 23/03/2021 18:00

I think that there is a help line that you can all phone.
Run by volunteers.
If they don’t offer to source stickers, defo complain about them too. Defo.

I think that there’s a self referral counselling service run by the NHS too.
Obviously you should insist on being bumped up any waiting list above any nurses who are waiting for counselling.

I’ll start a petition for debate in parliament.

NHS are utter bastards.

I've just emptied out the little bags full of leaflets that we were given after our on Saturday that DH just chucked on the back seat of the car without looking at properly and I've discovered excellent freebies! Still no sticker for me, but I did get a mini first aid kit for the car. DH got some cleansing wipes and is trying to tell me that they were for me and the first aid kit was his, but I'm not having it - he got the sticker so the best freebie is MINE! 😄

AppleJane · 23/03/2021 18:36

@AwkwardSquad Hugh's impeccable manners?! I can't tell you why he hasn't without getting my message deleted 😂 (you'll have to google it!)

Not even some arm pain ? When I couldn’t remember whether I had had the vaccine my arm reminded me Envy

Googling frantically...

AwkwardSquad · 23/03/2021 19:05

@AppleJane Oh... toys? Gosh. There’s nothing to say that the transaction took place in an unmannerly fashion, though. Unseemly, definitely...

AwkwardSquad · 23/03/2021 19:09

This thread has taken a bit of an unexpected turn...

Ok, so now our list of Perfectly Reasonable Expectations goes like this: a sticker, a cup of tea and a good biscuit, a lolly, a wristband and a firefighter, in an abbey, with Hugh Bonneville (don’t Google), a keyring with little bells on it, cleansing wipes, and a sewing kit. Have I left anything out?

Pomegranatespompom · 23/03/2021 19:19

I’d have liked a lie down.
But not with Hugh.

The actual jab? Grin

EasterIssland · 23/03/2021 20:03

Shall I write all the i. The petition? Anything else that you would like to add ?

@AwkwardSquad toys?! I missed that bit. That'll cost extra 😂😂

I'm crying with laughter! Who needs a jab 😂

AwkwardSquad · 23/03/2021 21:18

Oh! The jab! Completely forgot about the sodding thing, I was too focused on planning my outfit for the event! I’m thinking Downton Abbey references with a marmalade sandwich in my bonnet

Yes please, might as well Chuck it all in - it’s Perfectly Reasonable after all
70isaLimitNotaTarget · 24/03/2021 19:29

I had mine done , I was given a sticker just after then they offered stickers after the 15 minute recovery .

Maybe a bit tooooo eager to impress on us "Yes , you are being offered A Sticker" , I'm wondering if this thread had been brought to their attention?

No biscuits/tea/lollipops/firemen/handsome Dr/free gifts of any sort though.

EasterIssland · 24/03/2021 19:47

I hope the thread has and we start seeing more stickers :)

Im volunteering this weekend in my local gp. Hopefully I see many stickers ! Tho the last 2 times I did no stickers were around :)

There's only about 32,000 firefighters and some of them are married, so if compromises really have to be made then stickers look to be the easier option.

Myalternate · 24/03/2021 20:11

Spoilsport! 😞

AppleJane · 24/03/2021 21:42

What about pilots? They're not very busy at the moment, maybe they could volunteer (in full uniform of course) "this is your captain speaking, brace for your jab".

UseOfWeapons · 25/03/2021 11:53

Just wanted to update you all on my experience today, having my second vaccination.

No sticker!😶😢

However, had a large coffee, with biscuits, and was given a goody bag containing a pot noodle, a box of Maltesers , hand cream, and a bottle of H2O. Seemed a bit random, but they were apparently donated.

I felt it would be curmudgeonly to moan about the lack of sticker.

EasterIssland · 25/03/2021 12:20

@UseOfWeapons yeah you're a winner :) glad to hear you got that token!

OP posts:
MRex · 25/03/2021 13:46

A pot noodle!!

UseOfWeapons · 26/03/2021 07:14

@MRex

A pot noodle!!
Roast chicken flavour.😶 I know the likelihood of it containing actual chicken is remote, but as a vegetarian, I will be taking it to a food bank. Naturally, had it come with a sticker, a Hugh Bonneville attachment, or a marmalade sandwich, I would have abandoned my principles!🧐
