I got my vaccination few weeks ago and I didn’t get a sticker. Yet I keep seeing all around mn people happy and showing off their sticker.
Why didn’t I get one. Should I file a complaint ? Have they been produced in the Eu or India and they’ve been blocked to the uk ? I think this is a serious matter. It’ll divide the country and cause riots between those that got a sticker and those of us that didn’t get one.

I want my sticker !!

Did you get one ? Trying to figure out how many of those from the 26+2m got one.

@drinkingwineoutofamug I'm very jealous! My DF is back for his 2nd vax this month so will ask him to get me one!

Glad to hear they’re taking this serious :)

And glad to see many more getting their doses

I think we are seriously missing out in this country, please get a move on with this complaint.

I'm due my second vaccine this week, so will look out for a sticker, if not a box of eggs.

Ok I'm definitely very privileged then because I got a sticker! I (accidentally admittedly) attended the learning disabilities vaccination clinic with dd (we had booked in through the national system but they sent us into a different room, she has sn hence early vaccination). Amazingly patient nurse and she had not only stickers but also lolly pops, and, icing on the cake, they vaccinated me too when I wasn't due yet as i (genuinely) am my DD's nominated carer for pip etc though my dd is quite self sufficient

I got a sticker (Wales...its a bilingual sticker too!). There was someone whose job it was to go around the waiting area where you had to sit for 15 mins after the jab, and offer a sticker to everyone. If I worked at the vaccination centre I'd like to be the sticker-giver as my job.

EasterIssland · 14/04/2021 08:51

Thank you for the updates! glad to hear they're starting to consider the sticker situation !

@Pumpkyumpkyumpkin that role sounds amazing! I can see it in your linkedin profile!

I work in a mass vax centre and when I had mine done at the staff clinic I didn't get one.

I deployed the bottom lip at work and one of the lovely nurses gave me one from our supply at work. It's now on my work ID holder.

CoffeeWithCheese · 15/04/2021 09:16

I did not get one when I got my first jab done at one of the huge hubs in hospital. For weeks before my Twitter feed had been full of healthcare professionals in the same hospital trust flaunting their stickers so I'm assuming they nabbed them all.

However I make and design my own stickers so I could make a humongous one if I wanted.

Friend's mum got escorted in by Hugh as well.

elliejjtiny · 15/04/2021 09:57

I got a sticker. Really pleased as my dc always get stickers at medical appointments and I never do. I also got 15 minutes to sit in a tent with no dc which was brilliant, my first child free time in about 3 months.

Comefromaway · 16/04/2021 21:22

I got two stickers. The lovely vaccinator knew that I was needle phobic and she said I deserved two!

No cuppa or bourbon though. In fact I got told NOT to drink tea/coffee with caffeine in but have water instead.

Torvean · 19/04/2021 01:52

I'm on a trial. I've had 3 injections 4 blood tests, 2 lots of swabbing, a full physical , my circulation cut off with a bad BP machine, an ultra sound. A full medical history since day 1 of your life. And hours sitting in research place.
I've not even had a glass of water, sticker or nothing.

EasterIssland · 24/04/2021 12:47

Dh got his jab today in the same place where I got mine.
He’s started crying cuz he’s not had a sticker nor cup of tea.
