@AwkwardSquad Thanks - still no luck. The only centres that come up are Saltburn, Carlisle and Middlesbrough (no use for a non- driver in Northumberland) and there are no appointments at any of them! Glad you found the confirm button - I’d already been warned about that! 😂

45 South East got invite today, talking to locals and sm seems that lots of 40 year bracket getting done. However some 50+ not invited yet

Mine is in a few days. Nervous but relieved I think.

@AwkwardSquad Yes - late last night! The appointment is 23 miles away and totally inaccessible to public transport but a friend has kindly offered to drive me there. It was literally the only appointment I could get! First appointment is next Friday, I’ll have to change the second one as it’s on the same day as a hospital appointment but I didn’t want to waste time faffing around in case I lost the first slot!

@Pushkinia Total pain about the location but fantastic that you’ve got your appointments booked! Thank heavens for kind friends. A friend offered to drive me if needed as well - she’d had to go miles for her first appointment and had had a bit of a nightmare with the booking system so she knew what it was like.

@AwkwardSquad Friends are worth their weight in gold! It’s possibly just as well I didn’t wait for the GP. Apparently they’re still on groups 5 and 6 at the GP hub here.

Managed to book dp last night after noth of us trying for days. Seordly the site said he'd missed an appointment (definitely hasn't! It said the same for my brother who hasn't been able to book yet)

Had to book 1st and 2nd at 2 different sites but he drives so it's fine.

I'm so relieved. We both teach at a college - both back to face to face teaching and it's definitely a worry.

I'm not eligible yet unfortunately
