Quick vaccine questions from an emetophobe

Will definitely have the vaccine when offered BUT trying to prepare myself psychologically...

If you've had the vaccine could you answer these questions for me?

  1. Did you feel nauseous afterwards?
  2. Were you actually sick?
  3. Did you have diarrhoea?
  4. If yes to any of the above, how long did it last?

Thank you x

Just had my second Pfizer one this morning

Had no side effects from first one at all.
Hopefully be the same this time. As the pp said I didn't even feel it go in.

@HandyBendySandy oh I was exactly the same. Couldn’t even type the word or ‘sick’! It sent me into internal panic. Speak to your doctor. I hope it works for you.

Just an achey arm. Some had a headache or felt tired but I’ve not heard of anyone feeling sick.

Another emetophobe here (aren't there a lot of us?)

I had the AZ jab 4 days ago.

  1. Have felt occasional flashes of nausea but never for a moment thought I was going to be sick.
  2. No.
  3. Yes, bowels became a bit loose on day 3 and have been looser still today (day 4). But it isn't the worst diarrhoea I have had, just multiple visits to the loo throughout the day. I put it down to having a fever on day 2.
  4. Can't answer yet, but i really hope I feel ok tomorrow.

Another emetephobe here! I was a bit nervous but more scared of COVID (which can also make you sick!) so went with it. I felt a bit fluey but not sickly at all. 10 in my extended family have had it now - my Mum lost her appetite for a couple of days but didn’t actually feel sick, the remaining 9 had no stomach symptoms at all.
Try not to worry x

Had AZ. Only side effect was since tenderness in the arm.
