I had the AZ vaccine yesterday at lunchtime, have had a headache overnight and arm is a bit tender. Hoping that's the extent of it. I was very worried about getting it but glad that I have.

I've had both doses of Pfizer and felt rough for 24 hours after the first (as in, couldn't get out of bed), but fine after the second. Realtives who have had AZ haven't reported anything other than a bit of a sore arm. I think like any jabs people's reactions vary, with so many having them in a short space of time there are bound to be a fair amount that have side effects after. If possible have paracetamol in and rest.

I had the vaccine yesterday at 3 o clock, sleep well and symptoms kicked of in the mornings: redness in arm, headache (awful), shivers, joint pain etc. It seems to be getting worst as times goes by. Not worried. Question: can I have ibuprofen instead of paracetamol? I took paracetamol 3 hours before the jab and then by night same day. Today is not helping, normally I do better with ibuprofen. Why is everybody taking paracetamol instead of ibuprofen? 🤓 thank you

I had AZ yesterday and not feeling any side effects apart from woke up a bit headachy - may have been overthinking it

I had the AZ vaccine on Sunday morning. Was fine until evening then had nausea, diarrhoea, bad headache and joint pain. Felt rough yesterday and extremely tired. Starting to feel better now but still very tired.
I don't regret having it though, imagine how much worse Covid could be.
