It’s so funny, I was so excited when I saw nightclubs might open again in June. Even though I haven’t been clubbing since 2003 and I wasn’t very good at it when I could go.

Still, I’m excited to have a second bite at the clubbing cherry.

Friday 25 th June should be made ' freedom day' Or some such. The pubs and clubs and restaurants could make it into something big. They could start to recoup the money they have lost and keep up the feel good factor. Those that have survived all this of course.
Younger adults won't have had their vaccines yet.

Many will want to hold on for a few more weeks.

This made me smile! I cannot fucking wait. I want to go into a shop and buy a new dress, not order one online that ends up looking shit/wrong size. Get all dressed up and out into the world! I'm staying home - I've had social anxiety for years and have never been happier than in Lockdown. Once it's over I've decided I'm going to have the balls to say NO and stay the fuck out of shit BBQs and fucking wank pub quizzes I never wanted to go to anyway!

Avoiding busy places won't stop mutations happening. And we have a mass vaccination programme this year, with vaccines which can be tweaked within months if necessary. Nobody can say what next winter will bring but it will be nothing like the awful winter we're leaving behind now.

Hell yeah! I had a baby just before lockdown 1 so it’s been a very, very long time since I’ve been “out out”. I cannot wait. This summer is ON!

I gave up drinking at the start of the first lockdown and I’ve never felt better, so no booze for me. But I can’t wait to go to the theatre, go to a concert, go dancing l, go to parties, see friends.

Not sure I’ll be doing it all this summer...but fingers crossed soon enough.
