Friday 25 th June should be made ' freedom day' Or some such. The pubs and clubs and restaurants could make it into something big. They could start to recoup the money they have lost and keep up the feel good factor. Those that have survived all this of course.
Fully support this ... It's my birthday! Although my boyfriend has tickets for a rugby game in Edinburgh the next day (we are near London!) pretty sure I can find some people who want to go out to party anyway!!

I’m not but saying that I didn’t really go wild before lockdown lol. Saying that though if the plan out of lockdown works out to the date I will most definitely be out and about more, I’ll have family bbq’s, go to the cinema, take my dc on days out and in general enjoy myself.

I just want to see people out. Not just the young either , but everyone! Things like theme parks open , zoos etc. A bit of normality is needed this summer.

I think we should enjoy the summer (really hope I can see my family in Scotland this year) because we need some cheer to keep us going next winter if restrictions end up being reimposed. Next winter will be the big test, we'll have a vaccinated population and will probably be getting new variant boosters in the autumn so we should have a better winter but we don't yet know if we'll have levels of hospitalisations low enough to not overwhelm the NHS. Would like to see some money being thrown at the NHS to permanently increase capacity.

I won't...I will be happy to see my close friends, I will be happy to see my DDs able to mix and socialise but I won't be rushing off to parties or even down the pub. Slowly slowly back to normal. I am very much looking forward to getting on a plane to go and visit my Mum though.

I'll be taking all my weekends off then, for us it will be fucking mental (paramedic).
All that pent up frustration + booze + sun = carnage for frontline NHS yet again.

I don’t drink but I will be eating my way through all of my favourite restaurants multiple times!!! I can’t wait for the noise of the sizzling fajita dishes being brought out of the kitchen and straight to my table 😍
