Also, where do you live if you aren't clinically vulnerable?

DH is 58 and has just been invited. He is superfit, very healthy, BMI of 22, not on any medication. He did have heart surgery a few years ago but no issues since, we did wonder if that is why he's been invited as we can't think of any other reason

Coffeecreativity · 17/02/2021 23:15

Thanks @EmmaGrundyForPM looks like they are racing down the groups.

OH aged 59 had his yesterday. Nothing underlying

WouldstrokeTomHardy · 17/02/2021 23:19

North West last Tuesday DM age 65 no underlying health concerns. That's the youngest I personally know apart from people who are CEV.

Medievalist · 17/02/2021 23:21

61 (me) and 62 (dh).

thatonesmine · 17/02/2021 23:21

64 and I'm getting my first dose tomorrow. I have COPD but it's completely managed, no symptoms.

TeaPiglet · 17/02/2021 23:22

DH is 26, he gets first dose tomorrow

bigbird1969 · 17/02/2021 23:23

50 but they actually called looking for my DH who is vulnerable but was in hospital. They asked me my age and invited me down in stead

Ginfordinner · 17/02/2021 23:24

DH is 69 and getting his tomorrow. I'm 62 and not been invited yet.

Jericha · 17/02/2021 23:24

34, vaccine is on Friday. I have mild/moderate asthma, only hospitalised once about 12 years ago. Husband also invited to book, same age and no underlying health conditions.

Jericha · 17/02/2021 23:25

Sorry should have said, south west

akpounce · 17/02/2021 23:25
  1. I am diabetic and having mine Saturday.
Pinkchocolate · 17/02/2021 23:26

I’m 39 with no medical conditions and had it last week. It seems to be a “doctors surgery” lottery, I have friends who are vulnerable and still waiting.

MrsBungle · 17/02/2021 23:28

Invited today. I’m 43 and having mine on Friday.

Ginfordinner · 17/02/2021 23:29

I forgot to say - South Yorkshire.

bluestarthread · 17/02/2021 23:29

Had mine today. 48. I’m a carer. No health issues myself. In the south-west.

Vebrithien · 17/02/2021 23:29

36, mild to moderate asthma, also in the South West.

Had a (premature) baby last year, and three of us new mum's with 'mild' vulnerabilities were all invited today (36, 35 and 31)

jendifer · 17/02/2021 23:31

34, Midlands. But I’ve been invited because of my job (it’s fairly tenuous though, I wouldn’t vaccinate me because of it- I’ve accepted the vaccine because we all need it rather due to the work risk)

WoodpileHouse · 17/02/2021 23:33

Friend in her 40s has had hers but she is obese.

FancySomeChips · 17/02/2021 23:34

38 mild asthmatic
BMI of 41
But doctors said I had been flagged up due to recurring nasty tonsillitis (yet they won’t remove those) over the last 5 years (17 bouts of it!!).

BerryPieandCustard · 17/02/2021 23:34

Had mine today
I live on the Essex coast, I’m 35, no pre existing conditions, BMI is 28, only medication I use apart from birth control is a retinoid cream for acne.

I was perplexed when I got the invite to book at the weekend. The message said DO NOT CONTACT THE SURGERY so I just booked and went expecting to be turned away but didn’t.. both my Parents who live in the same town have not had an invite to book. There were 4 in the queue with me who were probably 55-65 years old

FancySomeChips · 17/02/2021 23:35

Surrey

Poorlykitten · 17/02/2021 23:48

@thatonesmine could I ask you how your COPD is managed ? (don’t want to derail thread but interested as husband has possible COPD).

Floreatfloruit · 17/02/2021 23:48

50, no health conditions (obese but not obese enough to count!)
Coded as the carer for my autistic adult son. Dh also vaccinated; heart condition.

Tatum1234 · 17/02/2021 23:53

My son’s 16 year old friend with diabetes had his at the weekend. I’m group 6 (age 40) with heart problems and still waiting.
