If you've been invited for a vaccine, how old are you?

Also, where do you live if you aren't clinically vulnerable?

Shocked about some in their 30s with no conditions getting it! I mean it's good generally because with every vaccination everyone is that little bit safer but it is definitely not quite right that perfectly healthy 26 yos are getting it (unless a carer or HCP which is totally understandable) while a 69 year old with many conditions is still waiting.

That said they were never going to be able to roll it out entirely evenly. If they insisted on everyone in group 1 done before moving onto group 2 etc you would have vaccinators sat round twiddling their thumbs. It does appear that perhaps that supply could have been more evenly distributed though.

39 and DH is 46 but we're both down as carers for DS who has a ling and heart condition

ColinKnocksTwoPence · 18/02/2021 11:54

DH is 67 with asthma and had it last week (South West).
I'm in Tier 8 so will be waiting quite a while I think (over 55 with no health problems).

Seeline · 18/02/2021 11:59

I had a phone call from my GP yesterday to go in on Saturday for my first one. I said "Are you sure?"
I'm 52, no conditions. Also got DH booked in, similarly no conditions, 57.

South London. I'm amazed because my 83yo mum who is also S London, but different borough, only had her first jab 2 weeks ago!

Singlenotsingle · 18/02/2021 12:05

69 and with a heart condition. Otherwise fit as a flea. Had mine on 16 Feb.

TheByngster · 18/02/2021 14:18
  1. I’m thoroughly confused to have been called, but very grateful. My husband who is 61 hasn’t been, which strikes me as odd.
Shinyletsbebadguys · 18/02/2021 14:22

41 no underlying chronic conditions and BMI of 20 , I was very confused ( but delighted ) to be sent an appointment today and did double check with the surgery that it wasn't a mistake but apparently not.

MaryShelley1818 · 18/02/2021 14:31

42 and I also received an invitation to book my vaccination today so have booked for Saturday evening.

Live in the North East and have a high BMI and gave birth 2wks ago and was diagnosed with GD which has since disappeared.

JulesJules · 18/02/2021 14:58

I've had my first dose (CEV) but DH hasn't had his, he's 53 and asthmatic. He only has inhalers though, so I think they've been bumped down to group 9. I'm in the NE.

Flambola · 18/02/2021 16:53
  1. I’m booked in for mine tomorrow. CV.
fairway21 · 18/02/2021 16:57

53 had my first vaccine on 16 feb.West Midlands

RuleWithAWoodenFoot · 18/02/2021 16:58

47, invited today, going a week Saturday.

He did have heart surgery a few years ago but no issues since

I had an almost fatal DVT/embolism situation in 1999. Some issues since, but nothing significant. Someone just linked a calculator thing about risk, I looked on there and my issue is there - heart stuff is too. Might be that. It hasn't been mentioned on any other list in the past year.

FidgetArse · 18/02/2021 17:00

Im 37 but CEV , had mine 3 weeks ago

WitchesBritchesPumpkinPants · 18/02/2021 17:08

A few of my friends/family have been done at our surgery.

Hampshire
I'm the youngest I know of at 51 (diabetic - diet controlled no meds/obese)

I don't know anyone who has had it but isn't CV.

It's a shame it's slower in some areas, but hopefully they'll catch up soon!!

14February2021 · 18/02/2021 21:41

I’m 48 and have a paraganglioma but other than that fit and healthy, I’m getting mine tomorrow - totally out of the blue.

TalbotAMan · 18/02/2021 22:15

DW and I both got invited today for Monday. She's 50 and I'm 63. She's disabled and in Group 6. I'm her carer but I am also coeliac so don't know which they called me for!

Frozenintime · 18/02/2021 22:35

Hophop26 · 18/02/2021 22:46

37 south west - I fall in the cv list on several grounds but wasn’t convinced I would fall within group 6 but glad I do.

Oilyvoir · 18/02/2021 23:01

55

CoronaIsShit · 18/02/2021 23:04

DS (18) and on the CEV list had his first dose last month. I got one too as his carer (48).

tenlittlecygnets · 18/02/2021 23:13

17yo dd of friend has had her vaccine. Mild asthma. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Feckers2018 · 18/02/2021 23:30

Me 60 fit and healthy. DH 58 underlying conditions not yet.

GriseldaChop · 18/02/2021 23:35

I'm 44, in the north east, have diabetes, was vaccinated yesterday. Wasn't expecting it as not long since been classed as diabetic, but only borderline and diet controlled. I checked if they were sure and they said yes. Feel lucky/guilty as have friends with conditions I'd consider worse than mine who haven't heard yet. Makes me feel safer returning to work on the 8th if schools do open tho!
