By that logic we should never moan about our social lives, there are people dying every day of many things.
Dying of covid isn't somehow special.

No one need take my word for it. Anyone can go look. Any time they think the government should have left it up to common sense. Not just those threads either. There are anti-vaxxers and conspiracy nuts all over the place.

Perhaps for most people it would have been enough to say "look, restrict contact as much as humanly possible. Here are some suggestions that might help"

But sadly we had to pass laws to control the ignorant and selfish and that made it harder on everyone as you couldn't use your own judgment in your situation.

That really wasn’t my intention, I actually hate confrontation! I just lay in bed last night feeling completely and utterly at the end of my tether, surpressing a scream in the dark. A poster yesterday described the feeling well - like a twitch (but she put it more eloquently!).

Enough of saying 'schools should re-open' with no regard to the safety of education staff (plus they're not actually closed anyway). It's as if education staff are automatons, dispensable.
As for the way nursery staff have been treated, my heart goes out to them

The has always amused me because years ago when I had an ongoing cough (more than 4 weeks) it got so bad that it developed into pneumonia, pleurisy and a cracked rib. I always wondered the point of the advert when it was a fight to be seen by a doctor.

Enough of people thinking they don't have to follow the Covid restrictions. Nobody is entitled to decide that they are above the law and if we object (and I do) then we need to do so through the proper channels and not just decide to ignore them.
